People defending themselves from an invading force. They didn't start the war.
Of course it's important to know the narratives we tell ourselves. It's interesting to know the narrative the other side tells themselves too. How couldn't possibly not be interesting to know the narratives? What should we do, just accept our news as facts and dismiss the other side's news as propaganda?
The reaction to the other side's propaganda while accepting our own propaganda is interesting to watch. One poster even said the Russians don't have a narrative. Imagine not knowing that the other side has a story in which they're the hero.
I have not lived in Moscow and do not know what the situation there is. Moscow is quite different from other cities and towns in terms of security. What I can say is that most Russian people that I know are not strongly against this 'special military operation'. Their only hope is to end it quickly. Again, I am talking about the East part of Russia. People in Western Russia can view this war differently. Somebody already called me a bot, so be it. I just express my opinion about the events that are happening because I see propaganda from both sides and more familiar with Russian mentality being Russian myself.
Turns out it wasn't 40miles long, it was 'packets' of vehicles. I was wondering why we weren't seeing a wider view. The convoy itself was/is being disrupted by breakdowns.
Anagram of Vladimir Putin - I am livid runt
Any chance you could translate in english?
All I read is "narrative, narrative, narrative" mumbo jumbo!
Lukashenko is Putins gimp.
Felt like doing something, not that a video will do much..Its painful at this stage watching Ukraine & it's people suffer.
Hmm...didn't that guy cheat/bully his way back in 2020 and a certain US Presidential administration did nothing for his opposition?
Remind me, who was POTUS then? Some weakling I suppose
You are showing your true colours so as far as I am concerned I do not want you or your likes in this country.
Just? He isn't entitled to have whatever he 'wants' and even less to kill people to get it, otherwise any thug and morally deranged person is perfectly enittled to slit your throat, and those of your kids, relatives - anyone they see as being a hindrance - to take from you what they want.
I doubt you ever had a moral compass, but if you did, please get it repaired.
Any idea how to buy the war bonds? Are there any easy ways or a broker account is required?
Don't be stupid.
Too many Lada Niva's up front.
The exact reason is clear - your president wants the territory once under the USSR back again. He said in his rant speech the other night. Do keep up.
The joke about 50 cent being called 4 million ruble in Russia might become reality soon. Ruble in free fall.
P.S. Maybe Ukraine should go into NFT?
Finland should join. Sweden probably doesn't need to because to get to Sweden Russia would have to go through Finland or Norway.
Low morale among Russian troops? Russia’s invasion of Ukraine may be stumbling because of low soldier morale - The Washington Post
I wonder if they have people who know how to use it.
Over 180 years of occupation by Russia / USSR since the Congress of Vienna 1815.
Poland & Turkey are at the forefront of military aid to Ukraine, both have long history of wars against Russia for many centuries.
Actually, https://www.deepl.com is possibly better, and certainly better in my experience, and I have previously always used MS's translator from the days it was Babelfish, before MS bought it.
You know what would happen. My opinion and opinion of the majority of the people that I know, those people who stood up do not represent the majority. If the majority was against what is happening now, it would not have started. The situation can change depending on the ground situation and how hard Russian people will be hit. It is actually a complex matter because the harder you hit the more resilient people can become. Time will tell how it goes on. Just please do not incite hatred to Russians. Probably you understand that not all people of Russia are responsible for what is happening now.
It is actually quite astonishing how many videos showing Ukrainians humiliating Russian soldiers are posted around. People are applauding to those videos. Is this the level of morale now? What is laughable when one human beings mistreat other human beings?
The question that I ask myself is why there are no videos showing how bad Russian soldiers humiliate Ukrainians. There might be some, probably I have not seen them.
And yet we hear this " oh the ordinary Russians don’t really know what's happening " yet you and all your compatriots here and across the Western world clearly know but still refuse to condemn putin. As I said already as far as I am concerned you should leave and go back to putins Russia ASAP.
The second round of talks between the delegations from Ukraine and Russia about the situation in Ukraine is planned for Wednesday, Russian state media reports. Ukraine to confirm.
“Unclear” It’s as clear as day … Russia has president thats a brainwashing and unhinged sociopath.
I can't see a scenario where Russia attacks Sweden by sea and not be part of a wider conflict, but technically possible.
Ukrainian civilians trying their best to stop the Russian advance

I actually don't like seeing it. But, you do realise these are invading forces, right? What did the Russians do to the Germans. What did the Russians do to the civilians in the countries they occupied during ww2. Here's an english lesson for you, put the 'word' animal into a sentence.
I was talking to a Polish lady recently and they hated what the Germans did to them, but they reserve a special loathing for Russians. Can you understand why?
I wish there was a “c” in his name , would have been even more apt
The majority is definitely against it. This is a link to one of the few independent Russian media (based in Latvia) that you can read via Google Translate. Opinion on the protests.
