If only there was some kind of pattern that could be discerned...
The Gestapo have arrived
Agree entirely. I think it's completely natural. I mean Yemen is just appalling. As it stands, it's a worse humanitarian situation than Ukraine - but in all honesty, I'm not as emotionally invested as I am with a war in Europe. It's also as I mentioned earlier partly because we're used to that part of the world being in conflict. We see ourselves in Europe as being past that sort of thing, but the Russians have just reminded us that we're just as fallible.
It's about time ,it's but 24/7 propaganda and rightfully should be Blocked from Europe ,all of their European offices should be closed
They could do something short of direct engagement... declare a no fly zone for humanitarian corridors in western Ukraine, safe haven cities, something like that.
Still very risky...
You're not going to bait me
No. It's built into the rules specifically to stop exactly that. You attack someone and they attack you back you are on your own.
A no-fly zone is direct engagement because unless it is policed it is pointless.
I'm bery, very baffled nobody here is talking about the real subject of this war. It's about pipelines again and cutting Russia off from any economic influence in Europe / seemingly in the world. Or was a discussion about this shut down from the mods before here? didn't read all of this endless posts.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nord_Stream
It's no surprise it's happening now, North Stream 2 finished in september 2021 and Angela Merkel off the picture who still had some abilities to hold Europe together, also to deal with Russia/Putin in a diplomatic way doing the best for Europe with securing (cheap) resources (gas).
The US now bringing Europe down, making us completely dependent from them. And where is our big brother, our great friends the US? Why don't they intervene, they have their great weapons, why don't they stop Putin with his outdated tanks ffs? No, a big war, Europe in ashes wouldn't be 'that bad', everythings rebuilt here since ww2, not much money to make anymore , so time to bomb it down, rebuild whole Europe and get the whole power over it, not only over Germany like it is since ww2.
And people still don't see this, Putin portrayed as a monster, same game as with Saddam Hussein. They brought him to the point where he has nothing to loose anymore. That's why he's invading Ukraine. I think his days are numbered. It is indeed a very dangerous situation for Europe.
Waiting for the mods to crawl out to ban me for speaking the truth and all the other posters here crying out CONSPIRACY!!! SHOCK HORROR!! and PUTIN ENABLER!!!. I give a f*** **** about this comments.
I can't find it but I thought I recalled an early post of yours on the thread saying you didn't know much about situation at all + were trying to learn about what was going on + were asking questions etc. (?) Maybe misremebering and maybe wasn't you.
If it was you seem to have learned a lot and know exactly how this is all going to work out in future. No one knows that. Predicting the future is very hard, often ends up making very smart people look stupid in hindsight.
Technically yes, but we know Google's position is near a monopoly on several fronts. The problem with censorship is that one day they will silence someone you do care about.
You forgot to include Bill Gates while you were copy/pasting this dribble.
I was watching it on YouTube yesterday for a while- my god, I don’t know how those broadcasters (American, English) can live with themselves in the manner in which they spouted and spun the news- but even so, I’d prefer to see this sh1t available to all so that we can show it up for what it is.
The genuineness of the text is irrelevant to be honest. It is absolutely plausible that this is the kind of message an 18 year old conscript would send his mother. Even if this isn't true, you can be damn sure that thoughts like these are pretty close to the final thoughts of these, quite frankly, boys.
"It doesnt matter if its fake, because I think its close to the real thing" - wow, a tacit admission that you willfully will believe propaganda and lies if it aligns with your own biases. The very reason you think this is the kind of message being sent is because of fake misinformation like those texts. The propaganda proves the propaganda.
Who’s cheering them on. Haven’t seen anyone cheering them on.
The size of that Russian convoy makes me think that its about to get much, much worse.
Since when is a rubbish stream of consciousness 'the truth'.
The US (or any NATO) troops can't militarily intervene because that's world war 3. Which would be infinitely worse than what's happening now.
Europe is indeed dependent on Russian gas, but it's something that can't be changed overnight, will take years to change. The Germans especially are waking up to the fact they have to undertake a large change in infrastructure to switch to other resources.
Putin did all this himself, it's squarely on him. He annexed Crimea, he invaded South East Ukraine by proxy, he has people poisoned, he has political opponents killed, etc - this is how the regime operates. Likewise, he has just invaded a sovereign country that was zero threat to Russia in order to fulfil some very Hitler-esque obsession with rewriting history.
So basically the Russians are realising they can’t win with the tactics they were employing up to now and they’ve decided to go down the route of Chechnya and start bombing the place indiscriminately.
Even if putin gets Ukraine to surrender what has he achieved?
Ukraine will never surrender and it’s population will remain opposed to him.
It’s nuts on his behalf.
When the Swiss join the sanctions you know Putin's junta days are numbered.
They allowed the Nazis squirrel away their looted riches during WW2 in their banks.
The NovoFuhrer and his lackies won't have this option now.
Putin just wants a puppet government like he has in Belarus, so he has a buffer of compliance between him and Europe/NATO
It would be a waste of time to call you out as a Putin-enabler. Your post is total drivel from beginning to end. Even someone not much more than a half-wit could see that.
I don't think it does "bite you in the arse" actually. Definitely was not as easy to get whatever distorted rubbish the communist bloc were pumping out as propaganda in the Cold War deep into your noodle. You probably had to go to some kooky shop shop and purchase a weirdo pamphlet/newspaper. Now our societies are completely wide open to the poision of Russia and lots of others who wish us ill.
(edit:) unrelated to reply...
It's also bleakly funny seeing the populist right in Europe trying to backpeddle and distance themselves from their macho man Putin and Russia now as well. I hope the stink clings and they end up in the dustbin of history, embarrassments with zero political support or influence similar to likes of Oswald Mosley in UK or German American Bund in the US, or indeed Communist parties and their groupies/fellow travellers in Europe after USSR sent in the tanks.
"US intelligence says Putin is lashing out at subordinates and his inner circle in bursts of anger"
I think I actually do understand now why you & some others want RT & Sputnik banned.
You're not actually able to spot propaganda at all.
This is pretty big, international shipping is vital for any economy
If you are creating your own messages then don't use Google Translate. Microsoft Translator is by far the best natural language translation product available and isn't likely to offend native speakers.
By bulldozing Ukraine he's effectively baking in the sanctions for as long as he is Dear Leader. That wont go on indefinitely... he eventually has to eat.
He lied through his teeth about it and dispensed with diplomacy himself. If this was his only gripe you might reflect briefly but he annexed Crimea in 2014 and this is part of his vision of a restored Russian empire. You may have overlooked the threat of using nuclear weapons, more than once. That's not a misunderstood man, any more than this misadventure of invading an independent country is.
The mask is continually slipping.
