He was on TV getting the jab and also the trial of the nasal jab, his daughter was also one of the first to get it (at least if you believe the narrative, I don't think it was anything else as he could have just done a trump and hidden away, maybe I'm naiive here).
I genuinely have no idea what's going to happen next, it could drag on for months, it could suddenly end tomorrow, there could be a Russian coup, there could hypothetically be a wider conflict, no idea. Terrible but extraordinary event.
The oligarchs could be key here. They wont take kindly to being hit in the pocket and its putin who has shined the light on them. I wonder could they fund and influence a coup.
Actually, I choose a history Russia joined a military alliance with Europe and America. Despite the bitter war opinions stuff that goes on here, we can share a history with communities in the east.

Eliminating them from the Swift pay system ensures that money cannot be transferred internationally, they will need to go old school (fax machine, very 80s! to fill in forms). The rouble is going to go into free fall. This would make the general population angry and maybe change the way they see Putin. Already a few million turned up to marches. The swift ban on the central bank is huge. Russia has enormous USD, EUR and GBP reserves and it would normally sell these to buy rubles to support the currency. With no Swift (and also nowhere to clear those currencies) the central bank has no way to support its currency. There will be a huge crash and hyper inflation
The rhetoric can be toned down after Putin stops his invasion of a sovereign European country.
