Russia Today just has a Ukranian flag on it at the moment. I was watching it yesterday. It's honestly quite funny hearing it in English. It's probably just Fox News to Russians(not sure if RT is the main news network in Russia or not) but there's something just so awkwardly jarring about the on the nose propaganda.
Well if it came to a choice between me and my country being torched by a nuclear bomb and joining up with the UK again I know which option I'd take...just hope there is a heaven.
But in all seriousness, I'm not suggesting anyone should cave in but the decision makers have humanity and the world to take into consideration and if there is credible intelligence that Putin might go there then we'd have to take all options into consideration including conceding (something) to him.
Absolutely bull, however there is a very high possibility that Comrade Vlad won't be around by then.
Or our mickey mouse army peace keepers.
The problem with conceding anything to a tyrant like Putin is he will always want something more.
But there would no end to the suppression of your freedoms if they found out that they could control you with threats of nuclear warfare. If you are not free, then life is worthless
This doesn't make sense to me. If Putin launches one missile at any NATO, or indeed western-aligned country he brings the whole of the American arsenal down on his head. Everything from Vlaikavkaz to Vladivostok becomes one giant glow-in-the-dark carpark.
I find the situation all the more serious when EU language and actions are so strong and Biden doesn’t speak. It makes me think they know something and they are preparing. I hope it is only discussions on sanctions but it looks like it is more than that.
I wonder how the Russian soldiers will feel when they get the news that Ruble is collapsing. Tricked into Ukraine thinking they were just there to do an excercise. Now whatever they are getting paid is worthless. Know that even if they win the war, they'll be going back to Soviet living conditions.
It's not inevitable, but it's also not absolute bull to suggest it's a strong possibility. Vlad doesn't have a whole pile of options, and the big red button is one of them.
Well its Ukraine or the Gulag.
I dont think the rupee will be on their minds to much.
I feel the same way.
And Cher
You do understand that Putin has legitimately threatened the West with nukes?
It's not "bull"; it's real.
Biden is 97 and away in the reirement home for the weekend. Wouldnt pay any attention to that. If the yanks thought a nuke was likely they hit first and hard.
You don't feel sorry for no one. Putinbot.
Yep, taking all factors into account it's the same for me.
Fook me pink.
The ghost of Neville Chamberlain is alive and well.
The evolution of Putin's 'thinking' over the next few weeks/months
The Lying?? Putin seems to be conveniently forgetting that this so called "NATO Expansion" coincided with ex Soviet Country's applying for NATO membership to protect them from Vladimir's Russia??? And that's what brought them close. This was not NATO deliberately "encircling" Russia. It was independent Country's exercising their right to join NATO. And that's where the lying comes in.
ruble trading hasnt officially opened on asian markets but approx start estimated to be about 98-100 per dollar or about 18% starting drop on last close .. we will have to see what happens but if it falls that much at start of day and russian central banks hands are tied by frozen 630 billion in assets anything could happen ..
Well they ate not going to going to tell them they are crap. You'd never get them to another makey uppy " warzone" again. Its a holiday for the lads.
FCKPUTIN 😄😄😄
Am I the only one smelling a coup? This is a pivot point in European history, surely?
Something big is about to happen.
TBH a lot of the far right twitter autists are no better, apparently Putin was tricked into invading by the NWO to cover up or usher in....whatever you're having yourself. Wormtongue carry on
Putin has by all accounts gone completely loopy over the course of the pandemic.
What I proposed was a situation where Russia would launch ICBM's at as many viable targets without what would conventionally be seen as reasonable provocation. Potentially stopping the potential for retaliatory strikes from NATO.
I think the element that could allow this to happen is the hubris of Putin. The Putin of today is reportedly a very different animal to the Putin of a few years ago. He has the potential to do something extraordinarily bad at the moment and he's surrounded by yes men who have been previously encouraging his hawkish behavior for decades.
All of the above is a recipe for disaster. Let's hope it doesn't come to pass.
Not surprised you are doubling down on your slur against our army.
You have nothing else to offer.
The NWO have been recruiting since Hulk Hogan for cancelled. Moscow Putin doesn't have the same jizz as Hollywood Hogan though but definitely a top heel.
