Born in yankland. Grew up in Galway though and I think went to school there. I think one of his parents was a Protestant which was why he went a bit mad.
Putin must know he's already lost. All other avenues are closed off apart from retreat. Can you imagine Biden saying to the public that he is readying the nuclear arsenal?
What are you basing this assessment on? Russia went into Georgia in 2008 when Bush was President. They annexed the Crimea in 2014 while Obama was in The White House. And now under Biden they're going into the Ukraine.
What happened under Trump?
Russia should have no say on whether Ukraine joins the EU and NATO. Time to put a stop to this bs. Ukraine should not cede territory to Russia. Russia cannot be allowed to forcibly annex territory. It only emboldens them when their actions have no consequences.
Now would be a good time for Belarus to exit the Russian thumb and get rid of that dickhead in power.
You're gonna need to ask Stormy about that. Whaa-heeey.
Cringe.
Turks moving on Bosphorus.
Turkey’s foreign ministry has signalled that it intends to block Russian warships from passing through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits that lead to the Black Sea, a shift in Turkey’s formerly neutral position where officials underlined alliances with both Russia and Ukraine.
Russian military attempting to surround Kharkiv and Mariupol and join the forces there in the east and south and carry out a final push on Kyiv. Russia has a game plan, but there is resistance. Losing the war is a myth. This is not Iraq 2.0 there dealing with a substantive army that possesses Nato weapons, it takes time to overcome them. Frankly, Putin has been kind as he could flat these places with projectiles and missiles and call it a day. Ukraine themselves indicate civilians dead is low. Russian army not flattening its way through at the moment to victory. Haven't heard of submarine or battleship launches here,or many long-range bomber sorties anywhere.
POTUS said about Syria-
"We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my calculus. That would change my equation."
we now see many nukes moving around, go figure
A nuclear strike is extremely unlikely. Extremely.
It would be like Boris Johnson press ganging East Belfast in to going to war with Ibrox.
The motivation isn't there.
Then the logistics chain seems to be patchy.
All while fighting the Ukrainians who are in a frenzy trying to get at them.
I thought trying to take it all would be a disaster for Russia as they tried to hold it but this is a jaw dropping clusterfux8 of a poonami.
I'm on a mobile, and this new boards.ie sucks, can someone please make sure the ham radio Forum are organising themselves to broadcast the truth to anyone in Russia that can listen?
"everything"? You are just digging yourself deeper; stop, for your own good. Many more thousands of Ukrainians have died and shed their blood than we have been told about - mercifully. Lives and blood, dead children, dead mothers and everything should be on the f'n table and Ukraine should just give up bits of Ukraine because some quisling Irish git is feeling a bit uncomfortable?
No, just fucking no!
Video is from 2018 apparantly.
Pig grease on bullets for use on Chechen invaders.

They may have some hard choices... assuming they hold out and have any say in what comes next.
Either rule out NATO membership and be at risk of future Russian invasion or give up on some of the contested regions.
Unfortunately there seems to be an endless supply of 'useful idiots'.
They probably don't have any rocket fuel, its now the worlds biggest car bomb.
Air Raid sirens going off in Kiev
Could be more spin on the Ukrainian side. Even in these times of mass/social media, if anything it's worse, spin on both sides must be viewed as such until independent sources come to the fore. The singular advantage the west has over Russia is that this is way more likely to happen.
BP offloading their 19.75% stake in Rosneft.
I saw a sad clip from a documentary there the other day, Yeltsin and his daughter (his advisor) and a few more were waiting for the results of the election in which Putin became premier for the first time, Yeltsin had already backed him, anyway as the results became clear that Putin was going to win late in the night Yeltsin decides to ring him to congratulate him... The phone rang out.... Putin never rang him back
In WW2 the prisoners of war used to piss on the electronics of the V2 rocket when assembling them. Just saying...
BP have dropped their shareholding in Rosneft. This is turning out to be a Super Sunday! (Unless your name is Vlad, then its a Sh!te Sunday!).
Thank you Turkey. Big news

Freezing the Russia central bank assets = cash runs across the Russia.
Kremlin media machine will be banned in EU
Almost total ban for Russian planes in EU air space
For the first time in history EU funds will be used directly for military aid.
I have a little something for you:

More moves by the EU
"Second, we will ban the Kremlin’s media machine in the EU.
The state-owned Russia Today and Sputnik, and their subsidiaries,
will no longer be able to spread their lies to justify Putin’s war.
We are developing tools to ban their toxic and harmful disinformation in Europe
Third, we will target the other aggressor in this war, Lukashenko’s regime, with a new package of sanctions, hitting their most important sectors.
All these measures come on top of the strong package presented yesterday,
agreed by our international partners."
It's a logical fallacy and why it may well be sabre rattling i.e. Russia invades Ukraine but days into the conflict Putin gives the order, which is disseminated to western media, to ready the nukes. Surely this command would have been a pre-requisite before launching an invasion.
