How much must Putin be fuming over the immense shadow support that NATO is giving Ukraine?
All afraid to publically show their faces and photo taken at first light when nobody is around, pure cowards.
Not a strength to kill journalists, attack weaker countries, poison political opponents - it's born out of weakness.
Yup and word on the ground is the Ukranians would not have a tiny fraction of the success on the ground without active intel they are getting from Western Intelligence.
@Yurt! you have been bang on with your posts and assessments of the situation over the past weeks.
What do you think will happen next and do you think that it could come to a nuclear war?
They cant show their faces sure they're revolutionaries dont ya know 😂
I swear to God, do people even think any more (?).
So many logical holes and slippery slopes in that, don't know where to start and am not going to bother. I don't game btw. The only people ordinary Russian's should be resentful of is their govt. who chose to start a war of aggression. If Putin/Regime choses to arrest them or otherwise persecute them just because they got a visa cancelled, that is entirely on him/them. These discussions are interesting in a way that it shows a visa for a wealthy, democratic and politcially stable Western country is now considered by some as a kind of global human right, or ultimate salve for all the many problems of the world rather than a privilege given out by our governments to citizens of other governments.
Hahah what great lads they are jaysis
It was not unimaginable. There were many of us here and round the world who said it was coming. Anyone who believed Putin and his cronies all this time are **** thick.
The only thing I was certain of was that the Putin snaking regarders would end up with fried eggs on their faces and it was always likely to come to a situation like this if any attention was being paid to Putin's formbook.
I'm loathe to predict what happens from here on out with greater confidence, but it's looking likely the Putin era is coming to a close. What that looks like in practical terms is anyone's guess. The layer of people underneath of Putin have some important choices to make in the next few weeks.
Only takes one to be launched for it to start.
Revoking visas.
Ouch. I know there will be losses on both sides but that has got to be hurting Mr. Puts - an awful lot
Is threatening the use of nukes in itself not confirmation of insanity?
Even if its a bluff , the potential for untold escalation makes the sentiment certifiably nuts.
He can't do anything about it just as he thought nobody could do anything about him invading Ukraine. At present he's more bothered about his own military's inability to capture anything.
**** unbelievable stuff altogether. I could spend a bit of time doing DIY and then see the news that Putin has put his nuclear forces on special alert.
No disrespect to the great country and people of Ukraine but would a sane and rational Putin allow him, his family and a big chunk of the world die for Ukraine in the event of a nuclear war?
Is it a bit of dick measuring and sabre rattling or has be completely lost his mind.
Take these figures with a heavy pinch of salt, but indeed there's no doubt the Ukrainians are knocking out a large amount of Russian armor, support and units
The German railway, Deutsche Bahn, has said that refugees with a Ukraine passport or identity card will be able to travel free on long-distance trains from Poland to Germany.
Also Japan will freeze the financial assets of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin "and other key government officials" following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
All routes in and out of Koniggsberg must be blocked- hit them at every weakness possible.
I really wish Putin would just put a bullet in his head at this stage.
It is frightening. He's a madman and an empathy vacuum. I just hope those around him have the courage to overrule him - if they can - if he decides to go nuclear.
So your all for it then okay and you say I have logic holes. These people who are working in countries and do not support the war should not have there lives destroyed as someone believes they are the same as Putin or whoever backs him as I said idiotic
Apparently widespread resignations amoung Russian public sector employees over the Ukraine invasion.
Breaking: EU bans Russian television in the European Union. Closes all airspace to Russian aircarft including private jets.
Interesting read about managing nuclear escalation

And one other note, we need to start thinking of the bigger picture here too. I worry if Putin is given no “out” then we are looking at something far graver for all of humanity.
Belarussians are not hardened fighters at all, since the Soviet union pulled out of Afganistan they have fought nothing except women carrying flowers.
The Chechyens gay bashers are hardened fighters true, but they have already run away because they meet someone harder, Ukrainians defending their homes.
I would still be worried what Putin could do unless some sort of peace talks give him something I can't see him just accepting defeat and withdrawing his troops and the ignominy of a defeat. He can do enormous damage on his way out .
