It is not about simply speed of invasion but also casualties. Iraqi resistance was fairly useless, Ukraine's is most definitely not. Russians have already suffered heavy losses unlike the US. If Ukraine keeps up fighting, all indication is it is next Chechnya for Russia. Also don't forget Ukraine seem to be taking back some previously captured places (e.g. the city of Sumy)

I'm really sick of posters here taking pot shots at Biden, not because of his actions in this conflict, but because of who he is and his party. If he'd fuked up, fair enough, but to be fair to the US, they have done and are doing all they can, within the confines of not wanting to start a broader conflict. It's a nice thought.. that there are Guardian Aliens of some sort out there, ready to save us from ourselves. There's a senior ex-Canadian military fella (senior) who tells a similar story; implying that we have made contact but that the AliensTM are hanging back until we up our ethical game. I don’t think Biden has been too bad all things considered in this? They are backing Ukraine to the hilt and I’ve no doubt plenty more to come. I’d imagine American intelligence is one of Ukraine’s biggest aids right now.
