However, if military success continues to evade him in Ukraine, and if civil unrest in Russia keeps rising, he may very well believe that his people have betrayed him and that they should be punished. Hitler believed so in his final days. He didn't have the weapons to pull the world into oblivion with him. Putin does, and he's already operating out of a place of emotion, not one of logic.

Though every Ukrainian still in Kiev may be impeded from getting out of the city due to their absolutely gigantic balls, I hope they know to make that call when the time comes. I did think it was very sporting of the Russians to put a big Z on their equipment to give the Ukrainians something to aim at .. I'm assuming a basic rpg which they'd have in the thousands would take out everything but front line tanks and armoured personnel carriers ..
