Where are the Ukrainian air units being based? On the first day there were a load of strikes on airfields. Airfields for planes are difficult places to hide, surely Russia have gotten to them all?
Could they be operating out of Poland?
Who's going to be the first brave pupet and say no to Putin? They better have their family out of Russia and be prepared to be executed
The ex President.
He might want to find new bodyguards though. Watch the fella to the left of the screen at 22 seconds. Like something from Dad's Army
It could simply be that the Russian airforce is awful.
"The Ukrainian Problem"
Vladimir Putin sweetcheeks, this is not a Ukrainian problem, this is a you problem.
Thats hilarious
I think there might have been crossed wires when he asked for "special" forces to stand behind him on camera.
(Obviously only said in jest given that the man involved is actually putting himself on the front line so fair play to him)
Oh dear someone didn't lock their Mag in .
Kept his compusure though
Probably no better time than now to do so. That's if they are militarily ready to do it.
"It's not me. It's you...kraine."
-That pr*ck Putin.
"Ukrainian army says another Il-76 shotdown near Bila Tserkva, and 60 saboteurs detained at Troeschyna"

Sweden FA saying they won't play Russia
Probably based in primarily the west of the country close to the EU border near Lviv and Uzhhorod (the international airport there is literally touching the border with Slovakia)
The Russians have not managed to neutralize the Ukranian air defense yet
Here's the fascinating footage of ordinary Ukrainian's making Molotov cocktails.
Yes indeed he was passionate. Is this the guy whose net worth is north of $1.5billion? All above board I suppose, through hard work and never mention the "oligarch" word, or the Panama Papers either. Shhhh now.
I've been following the war on @gavinsblog's excellent Ukraine list on Twitter. From what's been discussed there, it seems to be a combination of factors. On one hand, it looks as if Russian PGMs aren't as precise, or indeed as readily available as they would have liked. Second, it looks as if they targeted runways and support infrastructure which, when combined with the accuracy issues, would mean that a number of aircraft would have survived those strikes, bearing in mind that any strike would likely at least start with stand-off weapons as those airfields are likely bristling with radar-laid flak guns, and surface to air missile batteries. Thirdly, it looks to me as if the Ukrainian Air Force keeps moving their assets around from base to base so that a base that is housing Flankers one day might just be hosting a few decrepit An-2s the next.
Finally, it seems the Ukrainian military knew what was coming and prepared accordingly. Their armed forces have come a long way since the dark days of 2014 and while they're still using mostly Russian-designed equipment, they seem to have shifted to more NATO-inspired tactics and have certainly taken lessons from previous Russian operations as well as NATO operations against Iraq and Afghanistan.
Got chills reading about the Ghost of Ukraine, the fighter pilot who allegedly downed six Russian aircraft in a single day. Whether or not it's true is immaterial right now. What's important is the symbolism of that and the morale boost a legend like that gives to people.
Coming to a movie theatre soon
TopGun 3 - The Ghost of Kiev
Lol kept it cool other fella picking it up ruined it 😁
There is a bit of "Stig" from top gear vib off that but you are correct, fact or fiction it is the moral boost that really counts.
Straight lads definitely have a hard on for this fella.
Poor bastard is going to get slagged about that forever more now. The bearded guy beside did very well not to burst out loud laughing.
How am am I seeing a Russian advert in Russian on boards? Just changed back there, that was weird,
Somebody petition Tom Cruise. This needs to happen.
The Ukranians finally got their 5000 helmets:
even Belgium is sending sizable amounts of weapons.
Ukraine has asked for anti-aircraft from Germany.
If Germany don't allow SWIFT be blocked and send arms within the next 24 to 48 hours then they will look very bad as their neighbours are doing considerably more.
Halting Nord Stream 2 was symbolically good step but it wasn't actually in use. Meaningful steps needed now.
There is another one
Ukrainian armed forces are reporting that a Russian warship shot down one of their own planes in the Black Sea. The poor Russian pilots have to worry about their own forces as much as the Ukrainians now.....
Are ads not based on your personal searches etc?
What are all these Russian adverts about?
