Jesus, thank god John Delaney is gone. He'd be volunteering to play them 😂
It seems Putin really did count on Ukraine folding with his 'shock and awe' tactic of building up large numbers at the border. There are fewer and fewer clips or reports of helicopter attacks too. If they are trying to make their major advances at night it also seems like they don't have air superiority.
Apparently its the wrong time of year to do it. The seas aren't calm enough. Also logistically that would be a sea assault and they are facing a professionally training modern army that is well resourced of 450000 men. As someone said it may happen in 5-10 years but I believe the Chinese are more cautious and methodical. They will play the long game.
Donate directly and cut out the middle men earning 6 figure salaries and skimming their take? https://bank.gov.ua/en/news/all/natsionalniy-bank-vidkriv-spetsrahunok-dlya-zboru-koshtiv-na-potrebi-armiyi
Safe passage was arranged by Russia, facilitated by Turkey, for the Ukrainian Government to flee the country the night the invasion began. I really do think Putin believed the Government would flee and the Ukrainian army would fold following a rapid offensive, allowing a puppet Government to be installed.
This seems like a colossal miscalculation by Putin. I fail to see how Russia can impose a puppet Government at this stage. What is their plan here? They clearly will not be able to occupy the entire country. They will face fierce partisan resistance.
Logistics was never their strongest point.....its what happens in a conscripted army ( at least the Russian Army anyway ) The Conscripts are really badly treated, even by their own officers, So if there is going to be any shortages, it's the conscripts who suffer the most. So they develop their own survival strategies, and bartering is a common practice. Anything which can be traded or sold in order to purchase something they need, will be bartered or sold. Even arms....
Russia just keep losing.
Spineless. The more speaking out and help provided to the Ukranian's the better.
200 stinger missles shipped in from Holland today. You would be brave guy to take a helicopter on a joyride with those knocking about.
Polls are commissioned to influence public opinion, not measure it.
A different polling company could arrange for a different result.
It looks like Putin now has a choice.
Win the war by destroying Ukraine, or continue on his current half measures and let it drag out which will piss off his generals.
Neither of which are good options.
Ukraine is not going to go softly.
Looking at some of that ancient Russian army junk what little the Irish army have at least it’s modern by comparison
There is something very off here. If the Russian military are so weak then it is astounding that they attacked at all because this could backfire massively.
If this is the case are Georgia looking at South Ossetia and Abkhazia and wondering if they could have a pop. Will Moldova be looking at Transnistria.
Yes, they should have take it in Russia instead
Yes. What's wrong with that?
Can't believe that the UK has stopped accepting visa applications from Ukrainians, meaning there is no safe and legal route for Ukranian citizens to seek asylum in Britain unless they already have family legally in the UK.

No such restrictions on Russians to the UK afaik.
It's a crazy world out there atm.
It's time for you to grow up. Polls = propaganda
Slovakia are now sending weapons and supplies , they are also getting a new Nato battlegroup to be based in Slovakia along with Patriot missles
I wonder will some of the NATO members allow their special forces take paid leave now?
We shall not be silenced. Thank you for the moderators working diligently to restore the discussion.
The Russian military is a branch onto itself.
For heaven's sake, the primary duty of the military is to protect the country against harm. Putin is clearly causing significant harm, and a threat to world peace which itself threatens the existence of Russia.
They have a duty to remove Putin and the rest of his cronies.
Without the military, Putin is powerless.
Oh I'd say there's a fair few there already
You might get the feeling some might already be there
Germany sending 400 RPGs.
They'll arrive by the end of the year.
While I'm not sure if NATO intervention is correct approach. There most definitely is a groundswell of public support globally for Ukraine.
Was just listening to Petro Poroshennko on Sky News.
Very well spoken guy.

Some reports that Nigerians are being turned away from Poland when trying to escape from Ukraine.

Support for Ukraine, yes - but not for nuclear Armageddon.
