Gutsy. Knock yourself out, but Biden just asked Congress to approve 6.2 billion in aid to Ukraine as an initial response. The money is earmarked for military and humanitarian assistance. Just to put your gesture into perspective.
Plus, I am sure there are Russians living here that have fook all to do with Putin and hate his guts. Killing 'Russians' is too nebulous. The world would be better off if we refined our hatreds: a hatred refined is a hatred tamed. You don;t hate Russians en masse, you hate their soldiers, or some of their soldiers, or the Generals, or the political establishment. And with each refinement the number of people you hate grows smaller and smaller and smaller.
War drives people absolutely mad; speech that would be regarded as hateful and quite possibly illegal in normal times is suddenly permitted and cheered on. But even when ethics goes out the window, as it does in war, there are still rules governing conduct. Lack of moral discipline leads to war crimes and stupid, hateful acts of violence.
I would not beleive too much from either Ukraine or Russia while this is ongoing. UK MOD said last night they estimated 450 Russian casulaties.
They can hold forever in partizan mode. That has happened in Poland during II WWW. There is no way you can win a war against a 40+ million nation. Also Ukainians know what they are fighing for. The Russian side is fighting because they were told to do so. There are videos of Ukainians leaving (still) safe Poland and going east to fight - I'm sure no Russians are coming back to Russia to fight.
You will almost never get fully accurate proven stats for war casualties, even years or decades later.

Zelensky just put out the call for every mercenary in Europe to come join them in Kyiv.
They are already thought to be there from the Balkans, reports of fighters crossing from Poland, be interesting to see what leaves Turkey.
They need to get Russia out of swift. That, combined with an urban war of attrition in Ukraine, would break Russia economically and may mean the end of Putin.
There were Chechens fighting on the Ukrainian side in the Donbas too, the Dudayev Battalion and the religious Sheikh Mansur Battalion in Mariupol, and they were supposed to be pretty important in the early days and then in holding Mariupol back in 2015. But as far as I can tell the last of them were disarmed and detained by the Ukrainian security service (SBU) a few years ago as part of the government effort to take over all the militias.

If that nutter uses weapons like those on civilian areas the death toll will be massive. Hiding underground won't protect you. They'll be a lot of dead woman and children and the Russian population will hear about it. It will hasten the demise of his presidency.
I can’t see Ukraine holding out much longer if the Russians send in more troops and heavy artillery.
I'm glad Ukraine are putting up a serious fight and hearing about those planes indeed struck me as a very good thing, because the more casualties mount the more likely it Putin comes under pressure to break off this senseless war.
Continued Russian losses is a good thing in that context and hopefully Ukraine will continue to fight effectively for their homes and freedom.
However saying Russian mass casualties puts a big smile on your face and has you dancing around your kitchen in joy is kinda sick. They aren't cartoon villians or comic book Nazi's, they're real soldiers, real people, with families and loved ones, and many of whom do not support this war.
The only "evil" here is Putin.

I must say, fair play to journalists remaining in Ukraine to show us all what’s going on. One can be a cynic but it’s a relatively thankless job but it gives us proper , accurate information that we would otherwise not get.

👍Genuinely but pleasantly surprised the government are still in position. Thought it would be over by daylight this morning, at least in the center of Kyiv. They must be putting up a good fight.
