Look at a regional map and see where Turkey is in relation to Ukraine. Reacting to Russian expansionism has been the main driver of their foreign policy for centuries.
18th and early 19th century - Russo-Turkish wars
19th century - Crimean War
WWII - alliance with Germany in 1941 then switched side when the Soviets invaded Bulgaria. Stalin made territorial claims on parts of Turkey when the war was finished.
Cold War - joined NATO and served as effectively a large aircraft base for the Americans.

Surprised people don’t know more of the deep history between turkey and Russia. The bad blood goes back centuries. A lot of the Balkan conflict was about this

The courage, Bravery and Character that President Zelensky has shown when he could very well be living his last days alive is remarkable. I also say you really find out about people when things are tough not when the sun is shinning so to speak and President Zelensky is in a dark place facing literally death and his leadership and example to the Ukrainian people and the whole world is incredible.

From who? Who is going invading us? A portion of the island is part of the UK, you think they would wilfully let a foreign army take over us?
