She’s gone up a bit in my estimation by resigning. No one, least of all a new mother, should have to put up with that.
I hadn't actually. And it doesn't change my point about it.
unsurprising of course
party loyalty over reality
The only specific thing I can see in that article is they sent her someone to manage the office who seemed to be a skivver. Other than that it is all very vague. Like claims of bullying in other parties, it could be a case of fairly ordinary local politic rivalry. And before you start I also said the same of the allegations in other parties...they too could have been ego driven political shennanigans in a very ego driven world. None of these claims ever seem to come with concrete proof.
What 'realities' are you seeing?
What proof? All I did was call put your nonsense. I didn't defend any bullying from any party.
can you stop trying to twist my words , tip for you it doesn't work well on line , just scroll up and see .
you posted a lie and cant back it up ,
again
Bullying will be defended all day long. Sinn Fein has a very poor record when it comes to the direct abuse of women.
The best that the deflectors can come up with is whataboutery indirect abuse.
A senior party skiver ya ? and now the issue is proof ? with a party as shady and fond of transparency as sfira good luck lol
shifting the posts again i see 😂
sure we dont even know who is in charge if the organization do we
see if you can guess how many have left sf with similar issues vs other party's ?
that might clarify the reality for you
public criticism of sf is a tricky game to play . i wonder is some one has been dispatched to have a word
Former Sinn Fein Member Shares Warning From Party Over Tweets (extra.ie)
SF member ‘wrong’ to call to activist’s door about tweets, says Ó Broin - Independent.ie
She is on the radio at the minute...still vague, no specifics.
is it you know about the reality of what happened, can you relay one sentence of a converstaion she might have had that could be portrayed as 'phycological warfare'.
I'm fully willing to accept it if it turns out it was.
So fire away tell us what you judged the veracity of these claims on.
All you are doing is making stuff up and then dodging when called on it.
You can quote one post by anyone supporting or defending bullying? You could use your violet ann thread i suppose :)
How many people here have set up a thread to excoriate and vilify a democratically elected woman I wonder? If she was bullied there should be a price to pay by the bullies. I still don't know whothey were and what was said though but the court has made it's decision
Slag the woman off for years and even her husband. Then use her religion and bullying to try score points. Very low level stuff.
I hope that any bullies are either booted out or reprimanded.
a load of quotes in the links and press , paints a very clear picture and makes a few specific points . the only thing vague is the response from sf
she makes a number or references to sf in her public statements and NO ONE ELSE , dont recall any one being booted out of sf in all the many many previous cases of people being driven out for not following the party line . this might be a watershed for the party but i doubt it
Considering she is a psychology graduate, I would think she is better placed to assess it than a non-expert like yourself?
what did i make up ? please be specific and clear , as best as you can
I can only stand over what I say, not what you imagine I say.
No place for bullying.
Where are these facts regarding the numbers of bullying claims, by party so we can see?
Where is any quote from me defending any bullying? One quote will do.
Just heard her being interviewed on RTE Drive Time. Seems she wanted 6 months maternity leave (and I can understand that a TD living in Clare who has just had a baby would require that amount of time off, particularly when she has 5 other kids. It will be interesting to see how she will manage now that she has left Sinn Fein.
She did say that someone in her constituency told her she was an awful ejit for getting pregnant again which seems to have upset her a lot.
You were very quick to believe and defend Barry Mc Elduff until the higher ups in Sinn Fein eventually decided he was indefensible.
why are you getting thick with me ? i just pointed you to the quotes in her statements. easy to understand for the average reader/ voter
lol you ignored the same question on the parallel thread bruice , after i posted a link to a story about 13 sf members fleeing in 018
of course you know that . obviously the point is sf have a problem with its thuggish behavior towards its own party members .
Now again , specify please what did i make up or retract
ya reckon it was a dispute about maternity leave ? not the way I read her comments in the interview, seemed like something much more sinister
Its not me getting thick. Its like you're only hearing what you think helps your agenda. I never made any claims about what she did or didn't say. You know that though.
You said they'd more than any other party and it was a real problem for them. I called you on it and you couldn't come up with the goods to support it. Talk about hitting a nerve. No worries.
Its a quandary. An Office Manager cannot cover for a TD and the local Cumann may feel that 6 months is a very long time to have no SF representation in the Dail for her Clare Constituency. On the other hand, she has just had a baby a few weeks ago and has 5 other kids to take care of and being away from home for most of the week is going to be very difficult. I don't know what can be done in that situation. Maybe there should be some system of substitution for maternity leave in the Dail. When it comes to votes, Im sure other parties would match up for that, but being absent from the Dail for 6 months is a very long time.
The link function is your friend here...what quotes?
All I know specifically is that they sent in an office manager who seemed to be skivving, when asked about that on Drivetime, she said she accepted SF was trying to sort it out.
Other than that I haven't seen 'comments' etc.
I said the same thing as I'm saying here, if McElduff set out to be sectarian he had to go. McElduff went because he felt the controversy was causing extra hurt not because he accepted that he was intentionally sectarian.
Nice try rewriting history SS

here ya go so , i assumed that seeing as youve been discussing the topic all day on two r more threads youd have read the threads and links posted on them . especially considering you replied to a post containing the last link ,
my mistake i suppose🙄😏
