You might not have read much Russian history in your school etc, Russia is odd that way, but for the last 500 years a consistent trait in its leaders is to kill and opress it's people in such a brutal fashion that it often seems like a war of extermination.

There's been talk about SSO VS units having infiltrated Kiev by several Ukrainian news outlets. SSO VS is the Russian Special Forces Command, basically Speznaz with better impulse control. They might try to pull off an attack.

Apparently, the Containment vessel around Reactor 4 at Chernobyl was damaged during the fighting their earlier in the day. Not good at all, and that's putting it mildly...
If true, these would be the dreaded TU-95s and/or TU-160s, if so would make last nights bombardment look like a walk in the park, god help all in Kyiv.
