Exactly scumbags like Russia shouldn't be let do as they like, remember they use Nukes they get wiped off the map aswell, NATO should definitely attack them in Ukraine now.
They aren't a power they are attacking the Ukraine they are bullies attacking ans easy target.
After today I think putin is mad enough to use nuclear weapons.
Also i don't know if you guys saw this. I would say this is the MOST important thing i have to ADD to this conversation if you listen to nothing else i say listen to this.
Putin is surrounded by weak men and women. I mean REALLY weak ..
this is the head of his director of intelligence sergei narshykin ...
Listen to this.
ALL of them are like this. Simpering. There is nothing to hold him in check in his own govt. He can do anything.
Oh is he up to that now?? I haven't paid him any attention. I dont wish him any harm but ...he doesnt impress me to say the least. Was he awake when he said it?
It's already there, Putin won't stop at ukraine ,if Nato does nothing now they will fall along with the rest of Europe ,this is beyond serious now
Putin is a chilling individual - Ukraine now , Poland Finland next year - Germany UK - Ireland even.
He will take over the world if he thinks he can get away with it. Kill all in the way.
Lots of russian money in London property etc, Salisbury Poisonings, all on our doorstep
Ukraine isn't a nato member. EU states have got into involved like poland etc if that is to happen. And then the EU is involved.
Im not sure why you think that would stop it.
Posters on here, well some are going on like Putin will be allowed take over the World or even Europe. He won't be. Even if he uses Nukes, there would be millions upon millions of deaths but he will be stopped. The final outcome would be the end of putin, his regime and Russia as we know it. He won't take that risk unless he's gone medically insane.
Weapons may have moved on but human nature hasn't. If putin continues to spiral then war with NATO is absolutely possible.
Then we're just an itchy finger from nuclear war. Every generation thought certain things wouldn't/couldn't happen in their lifetime. History has shown that to be naivety.
Are we about to see petrol/diesel prices sky rocket?
Followed events out in Ukraine loosely up until now. Didn't think we'd see an all-out war so quickly. Incredible in a sense.
Didn't Putin say he has no intention of occupying it. His intention is to destroy it.
Like I said before, it's been impressive and, I'm sure they were hoping it would work out that it shows them in a far better light than the, now, enemy.
And it shows they have multiple sources right up to the top, they wouldn't risk being wrong nor risk their assets if it was just 1 or a really narrow source.
@vimalandrew You should maybe say the source when copy pasting. According to google, that is from Global Times (Chinese newspaper) so people can make what they will of that. Their state media seems to be somewhat gloating over this catastrophe & discussing potential sanctions busting, so seems like the masks are finally all off now.
Sure according to you russia is weak. Surely letting them get bogged down in Ukraine will be the end of them.
"demilitarise it" - aka destroy all military capability, then leave some russian "peacekeepers" there long term
Also for people saying "Watch the West do nothing", what are they meant to do? They can't (and I'm not saying they would) send anything to Ukraine unless invited and things will probably have to get pretty bad for them to do so.
Without a shadow of a doubt he's gone medically insane just from listening to his ramblings this week. His risk tolerance is probably quite high.
The best thing that can happen now is his subordinates plot against him and take him out. The fear on the spy chief when talking the other day was very telling.
I know, it was in relation to Poland and the Baltic states engaging article 4, then NATO (not the EU) could be involved - hence why I said NATO slash Ukraine vs Russia.
There's something so primitive and backwards about this whole thing. It might be naive, but I just thought that in the 21st Century Europe's borders were more or less agreed upon by everyone, and nobody would ever violate their neighbours territories.
Keep an eye on the Ukrainian currency. When that imploded or weakens significantly you know something is going down. It didn't budge overnight so that says a lot of the facts on the ground.
Too many here still do not realize that the west does not recognise Ukraine as a country. They have proved this by their actions. That is why Putin has gone in, he knows Ukraine has no allies. Attacking other countries would be completely different and would be instantly met with military force.
Yes it is a nice soundbite but I like the fighting talk despite facing overwhelmingly superior forces. They can't win against the Russians but at least they will go down fighting.
You admitted earlier seeing it on SKY news yourself when you asked for a link to something that is on every major news network. I would suggest the short term memory loss is due to drinking something slightly more potent and realistic than your fictional NATO cool aid.
But... but... Israel, but... but... America
@MFPM do not post in this thread again
You have zero credibility on this thread with the absolute nonsense you are posting. Your boards very own Chemical Ali.
I agree with what you say. I guess I am just comparing the directness of language with our own politicians which are fluffy and waffly and beige. I agree that boring is good in this comparison, but I just appreciate the clarity of language.
No I said thanks for the link. I went on and seen nothing.
Fake news.
I'd say that the chief of the Russian secret security is an incredibly tough person.
We are under attack. Oh joe help us. Haha delusional.
Probably yes.
