Interesting..
Surprised you aren't saying "still no sign of invasion" default Putin bot mode, even now you don't denounce Russia and putin
Hardly interesting, never heard of her but it took about ten seconds to find out that she’s linked to the NATO propaganda mouthpiece Atlantic Council.
Nothing wrong with the AC but what do you expect her to say?
"Hens suspect that the Fox they invited into the Hen house may not have their best interest at heart!"
Kind of disagree. That was not the approach taken in the Cold War (which ended up being successful/correct). I think we are heading to a place where Russia should really be cut off properly. So yes, that would be deporting people in general (i.e. cancelling visas and the like, not just for oligarchs/rich people connected to leadership somehow), not issuing any more visas/citizenships and divesting them of any assets they have in West. Am sure Russia will do same but I have a funny feeling they will have more to lose at that game and their citizens may not place all of the blame for the situation on the "West/EU/US" as Putin/regime would hope they will.
Ah,, Fox news is temporarily a good source now.
The Russian people absolutely should feel some pain of economic sanctions, and I don't say that because I dislike the ordinary Russian person, but because through them feeling the brunt of things, there brings a welling of anti-war feeling and political pressure on Putin to reverse his course. Yes, Putin is something of a dictator and would be inclined to ignore that, but even he could only ignore it so much before he realises he is rapidly haemorrhaging popular support.
this is Vlads reeling in the years moment
They have a good history of accuracy, unlike the propaganda machine in Moscow which has produced a never-ending string of whoppers and foot-in-mouth spectaculars for many years now.
LNG will just come in through the network from outside the state anyway …
They have also had a taste of the west for the last 30 years. No trade with the west would lead to a Russia civil war. Look on goggle streetview at the amount of European model cars in Moscow. When these people have to replace their cars with ladas etc they won't be happy. Even people close to putin who kids will never see theopportunities of the west will turn on him.
The Finns have been preparing for a Russian attack for years. Russia would get a very bloody nose.
NATO has a good history of accuracy too dropping ‘democracy’ bombs!
Right so, Russia has just recognised the original borders of LDNR as "independent" despite both being Ukrainian territory (one held by the Ukrainians themselves and the other half held by separatists). That's where Russian armed forces ("peacekeepers") are headed now. Once Russian forces start to push into the Ukrainian side of the line, and the Ukrainians resist them in any way, the Russians can kick off a full blown war and claim "self-defense"
Are there any Russians speaking out about this?
Not unless they want to fall down a flight of stairs, or out of a window.
That's kind of the point as well, ordinary Russians will suffer due to the Oligarchs all protecting themselves, as they've done all along. The top boys will take a bit of a hit but will work around plenty of it.
Or wear poisoned clothes or drink polonium tea or touch a door handle laced with nerve agent..
Shame on some of the Putin apologists here.
This is another dark day for the people of Ukraine.
Speaking of protecting themselves - Roman Abramovich’s yacht is on the move
the only difference between Hitler and Putin right now is Putin could actually take on the world and win
This one seemed to question his leader
Bidens speech brought forward to six rather than seven
Yes, agree (it should happen). Even if it doesn't weaken Putin's rule, cutting all those ties & interactions to a minimum and severing economic connections reduces Russia's leverage. I'm sure the well connected people will find a way to get the luxury goodies they want whatever happens unfortunately.
Never to be seen again 😂 I shouldn’t laugh but….. 😂
It's a good insight into how Putin rules especially as this was a live broadcast.
Can the apologists explain why Putin would seek, and be granted, formal authorisation from the Federation Council in order to permit him to deploy Russian military forces outside of Russian territory? You were so sure he would not send his troops into Ukraine, derided many of us for weeks and months.
What say you now?
