From EU website this where the crude oil was imported from in 2019
Could be wishful thinking too.
He looked fairly sharp to my eyes.
You'd really need to be around him on a daily basis for many years, to ascertain significant changes from a medical issue.
People were also noticing the times on watches during the "live" meeting, looks like it was prerecorded hours earlier.
Yeah, but it's really only Germany at 31% of their total who would be badly affected and paradoxically it might even accelerate moves to renewables even more. On gas the Germans get 65% from Russia with Italy at about 40%.
Is it just me or do his eyes look deader than they have ever looked?
He always had a dead eyed stare, but it's Ian Brady standard these days.
Somebody sent me this today. Made me laugh.
Which is why I think China will stay out of this. There’s money to be made in supplying even more materials that are needed for renewables.
Also, Russia has been limiting the gas flow to Europe so that reserve supplies are low (no prizes for guessing why)
Oil/gas prices will go up, but Russia's main export clients are Europe. Even though it was obvious in 2014, I think it's hitting home that Europe needs to move away from this reliance on Russia's exports.
Arm chair psychologists always do this.
People said Trump was mentally unwell, now saying Putin is mentally unwell. No proof of either.
If a twitching thumb gave it away, he'd have put the thumb under the table.
Has about the same knowledge of Afghanistan,,,where he claims quote " Most Muslins are in favour of Sharia Law" The mind not only boggles, but turns somersaults' ,,,,,
Probably time to think long and hard about trading with the likes of Russia and even China.
Woah big move by Germany, looks like Nord Stream 2 won't be certified according to Scholz.
Germans are pulling nord stream approval documentation
That wasn't the point and you know it.
He almost always has a poker face because when he has an expression this is what it looks like-
Not to mention paladium which is used in car parts and Russia has the biggest reserves by miles on the planet. Up 25% since this started and twice the price of Gold. Titanium parts for the airline and military industry the list is endless. One part missing production stops totally.
So what exactly your point being here
And so, the fight back begins.......
Can you prove he's mentally ill?
Otherwise it's likely just wishful thinking.
Human beings are very prone to inventing things about someone they don't like. When people are filled with hatred, it can distort their ability to see clearly or rationally.
It can be very true in war times too, when the enemy is often depicted as being devil like or having undesirable or subhuman characteristics.
People are entitled to view Putin how they wish, of course, but it is worth pointing these things out.
@Sand seems to have gone kinda quiet lately though......wonder why???
The rambling speech stuff seems very common in Russian political debates anyway. A very different public face culture compared to say the highly polished short sharp scripted catchphrase you'd get in US politics. I'd argue it's more a cultural thing.
And Burgerface is posting Anti-Vax drivel.
That won't half push LNG prices up now. It already costs 3 times as much.
The project was on hold as it is, or did they say they were scrapping it completely?
On the one hand, the Russians say that Donetsk and Luhansk have a right to self-determination to govern themselves.
On the other hand, the Russians say that Ukraine doesn't have a right to exist as a sovereign, independent nation.
Bizarre...
Can we bring Yeltsin back ? Is that an option ?
Putin knows all this would happen and doesn't really care about the sanctions coming. Its all about pushing this as far as he can before the US come to negotiate and they will.
Most of the world will still buy their oil and grain, gas will take time.
They've already been trying to negotiate with Putin up to this point, to little effect.
Kinda like the comments from Putin, Lavrov, et al in the last 24 hours?
The Irish media can be an utter disgrace at times: see this in to-day's Indo: https://www.independent.ie/world-news/europe/ukraine-crisis-anti-war-protest-for-dail-as-taoiseach-says-putins-move-has-had-chilling-effect-41371494.html
Huge coverage given to Boyd-Barrett who denounces both NATO and Russia. Also the Irish anti-war movement are on the march again: they will no doubt place equal blame on both sides - a very perverted take on what Irish neutrality means.
I can understand the Boyd-Barretts of this world.
, but the Indo? Do anything to sell their rag
