The thermal bridging on those windows would be brutal. Theres a reason why windows are set back.
its actually huge when you see it beside the existing houses! Yes... I wonder about the neighbours?
not being specific about this build .
but in the past they agreed on figure and ended up double
The original house will lose all the light and heat in the summer evenings too with the new house extending back.
Nonsense, this is in vogue now
how are they going to seal them. any cracking will leak . at least with a reveal most of the water will bypass the windows
The front of the house looks brutal to me
in vogue doesnt mean its correct of a good way to do something
the joys of commuting. an everyday occurrence for many, she's lucky it's a short-term thing.
Yes it looks absolutely ghastly compared to the other houses on the street, would be fine on it's own in the arsehole of nowhere.
...difficult and exhausting with a severely autistic son all the same.
And I suppose most commuters wouldn't have the kids in the car either, if they were going to school locally.
Interesting they didn’t show the other houses in the row..:)
I appreciate that, but the only point I was trying to make is that getting up every morning at 5;30 am is the norm for a lot of people.
Not sure about internal glass walls
Dog
I'd like to see how far back the house goes compared to the house next door.
A Bitch to keep clean
It’s too chunky for the size of the house and the wrong colour
I think it looks awful from the front.
He's gorgeous :)
yes it sure is...........but most people are not driving a severely autistic child to school along with 2 others, all in different schools at 6.30 in the morning, so give them a break on that at least.
Love the hall/atrium, stairs and kitchen.
We’d a tyre swing outside as kids, but multi sensory didn’t exist then!
Best wishes to them.
Front looks awful with those so called windows. Everything else pretty good
If they are happy, that’s all that matters! Well wear!
Is this one actually for real.
Moaning about having to leave house at 6.30am for a long commute, while she is lucky enough to live in a house rent free while her dream house is been built.
News flash some of us do this commute everyday + then actually have to do a full days work + then come home + look after our kids!
Yes tough her son has autism but plenty of other families in same boat, lucky for her the commute is short term + she has hours to herself everyday when her kids are in school.
I'm happy for them. They're a nice couple and they've a tough number with the young lad.
How many times was ‘journey’ mentioned in tonight’s show?!
I LOVE that snug, my favourite place!
Agree, nice inside. Seems a bit of an eye sore for the neighbours.
