Id imagine they will be similar to the advisors they currently have.
You can easily find out who they are, so work away and give us names of what advisors currently you are against or is it just future advisors you have an issue with?
Absolute nonsense blanch, here's your exact quote.
"Sure, those disgusting convicted terrorists that habitate Sinn Fein, those who ran kangaroo courts for child abuse, those who dispensed summary kneecapping justice on kids".
None of these convicted "terrorists" in Sinn Fein have done any of what you claimed in that post.
Hmmm, a new account, I think I will wait before I spend any time responding to your requests.
Never mentioned TDs in the quote you provided so you are wrong again. TDs aren't the only nasty people in Sinn Fein.
So which people in Sinn Fein have done what you claimed? Please provide sources.
Do you just attack the poster and not reply to the post.
I won't be here long if thats the standard of posting
Was the leader of Labour banned as well? Of course not, no one (including SF) gave SF a chance hence they weren't on the original invitation, that changed based on opinion polling.
You've got it in one.
A FG stunt (Harris) on the same scaremongering trail they have decided to travel regardless of the damage it is doing themselves. The electorate can smell the hypocrisy even if those defenders here can't or won't.
Spot on, its fun to watch the meltdown in both FF and FG latley as a SF led govt looks more and more likely each day and scandal that passes
Mary Lou now best priced odds on at 4/5 to be our next leader
Wasn't attacking any poster. Just wary of new accounts in light of recent events.
Are you going to provide sources for your remarkable claims about people in Sinn Fein?
So how long do i have to be a member that you will answer my questions. This place is very strange, if i cant debate as i am a new user whats the point of anyone joining?
You might want to do your research, I would have assumed that as a Sinn Fein follower, you would be more than well aware of certain members' convictions for terrorism, one of the issues I listed. Have you never heard of Gerry Kelly?
Having proved that my post has substance, I am not going to do a down-the-rabbit-hole dissection of the minuitiae of the post. I wasted too much time on such fruitless trips with the banned 10-account poster that I am not going there with anyone else.
You have not proved anything, I'm well aware of who Gerry Kelly is, he's an Irish patriot and one of the organisers of the maze prison escape. I was referring to your quote as you well know you said
"Sure, those disgusting convicted terrorists that habitate Sinn Fein, those who ran kangaroo courts for child abuse, those who dispensed summary kneecapping justice on kids"
Has Gerry Kelly done any of what you mentioned?
The first one obviously, he is a convicted terrorist member of Sinn Fein, you have admitted it yourself.
Seriously, don't know why I bother.
You said, and I quote "Sure, those disgusting convicted terrorists that habitate Sinn Fein, those who ran kangaroo courts for child abuse, those who dispensed summary kneecapping justice on kids"
So I take it you cannot provide any sources for these remarkable claims? Who in Sinn Fein has ran kangaroo courts on child abuse or knee capped children?
Admitted? Everyone knows Kelly's history. The next thing you'll be telling us is he is 'lurking'. 😁
Dead right.
It's disappointing during the teachable moment Francie had some months back, that it wasn't taken on board. He is just getting right back to the ol' tricks of posting stuff for the sake of it and trying to win arguments by mere volume of posts.
Most of us do have other lives alas.
Mod - enough with the sock puppeting accusations.
@markodaly take 24 hours away from this thread. If you post in it again before 11.15pm tomorrow your ban is permanent
This is the last warning about this. Next time it'll be a straight up permanent threadban and a short forum ban for whoever does it.
Saw this in another thread.
Why oh why do the GAA mix themselves up with these SF types.
Also, these three people who died carrying out a terrorist incident were not members of the Irish Defence forces. They should correct their tweet and monument.
They would want to get rid of the auld ‘grocer’s apostrophe’ anyway.
Chilling images, just shows how much Sinn Fein promote division among people.
best way to attract young and impressionable people to do the party's bidding. just like that poor chap from gorey.
I guess a war where people shoot back is a bit much for the boys
some neck by the getaway driver to make a claim while involved in terrorism
"Mr Justice Treacy of Northern Ireland's High Court awarded McKeever, the IRA getaway driver, £75,000 in damages in 2011"
The north is full of this stuff from both sides. It will continue because firstly, it is actually a divided post conflict space and because of that ongoing division, ways have not been found to allow people of all sides to remember their dead respectfully. It will happen in my opinion as it did here and elsewhere.
I also detest this kind of stuff and SF need to do more to make it more respectful. On a sidebar I do think there is a restraint in the design of the piece that might not have been evident a few years ago.
*And somebody needs to study his Irish and realise that 'Óglach' means 'young volunteer' and is not a word that is unique to the Irish army.
Not sure if it was intentional or at the prompting of SF but the absence of 'Óglaigh na hÉireann' is progress whether you want to see it as that or not.
If you see that memorial as progress, I just don't know where to start.
One of the most depressing things I have seen in a long time. It shows how entrenched sectarianism and hatred is among the Sinn Fein-supporting population.
Of course you would say that.
I recognise that it is a post conflict society and a failed state that cannot heal itself.
I don't agree with commemorations like this from any side but I recognise people's need to remember their dead.
I do see progress of a kind in this...so sorry for that blanch. 🙄
Didn't know you were such a recent convert to the worthiness of Orange Order marches, oh wait, even though they commemorate historical events and have no living victims, they are somehow not as good as celebrating and commemorating those who killed and have left grieving relatives.
If Sinn Fein are really interested in reconciliation, they would be putting up monuments to the innocent victims of the PIRA rather than to the criminal terrorist thugs.
Wha?
The only objection I have to OO marches are those that taunt and intimidate...they can march wherever they want otherwise.
I would also contest the notion that there are no living victims of OO sectarianism.
Well, the memorial you are celebrating does nothing but taunt and intimidate. Strange that you are not calling for it to be removed.
I have called for a moratorium on all public displays like this blanch. Would you have any idea how much iconography and statuery would have to be removed in the north? I doubt you do.
I made the point that this memorial is much more restrained than it might have been 10 or 20 years ago. That I commend and see as progress if it is a realisation that some may be hurt and offended.
