My skepticism very real. If it's geared more toward Biden/US actions that is because the US is what I know and Americans are people I care about. I think Americans deserve a fairer set of choices in life (and a fairer society in general) and the MIC is a major part of the problem. (To say nothing of the blood and treasure lost. And that's before we even get into the rights and wrongs of various foreign escapades.)
Do I believe the Russian state victimizes its people with its own MIC? Absolutely. Can the Russian state be accused of gangsterism? Yes.
But we could round and round for ever trying to claim a higher moral ground for one MIC over another and all we would be doing is digging a hole.

Ukraine bought 125 million worth of anti armour missles , but have spend billions over the last 8 years on defense ,due to the threat from putin and the occupation of their country ,

Thats highly unlikely,since its not only US involved in Ukraine,NATO is 30 countries,i doubt countries like Norway,Denmark and Montenegro would really care as along as they are protected against Russia,that happens to be the main goal of NATO at present.
Also UK and Poland just signed an security pact with Ukraine.
I'm so tired and cynical of the whole lot of them that if it was revealed that Biden and Putin have conspired to create this tension to boost global weapons sales, and to deflect from domestic issues, I would not be surprised one bit. Since both countries have fook all regard for their own military veterans, I doubt they give a hoot about Ukrainians.
