Sinn Fein support will be slightly lower than it was in 2019 but it will be around the same or higher than 2017, most polls estimate they will get around 25% of the vote.
Their support has been constantly rising since the last election in the ROI, they currently stand at around 35 percent it's not that hard to believe that their support will rise to about 40% in the time for the next election like I claimed. Wishful thinking Mark, I can't wait to see the look on your face after the next election.
Eoin isn't the worst. A posh lad who spent too long in college; listened to the Wolfe Tones, and then decided to get into politics isn't the worst way SF get lads into power.
Getting the idea he is becoming persona non grata within the unique structures of SF.
So the darling of SF Eoin o'Broin has been caught out claiming expenses he shouldn't have been.
Maybe it was the same time he was cosying up to developers and business telling them all to ignore the hard left SF rhetoric?
There has been numerous studies done to show that SF supporters online are by far the most aggressive and dish out the most hate.
I guess you are going to say these studies are wrong and biased.
'Alternative' facts.... eh?
Look at the vote share from previous MLA elections
23% for SF will be their worst election for almost 20 years if you look at the vote share.
Again, all the talk is about the DUP and well, you say that SF will get 45% of the vote in an election in the South. ROFL.... not going to happen. Id bet all the money of the world on that!
I never claimed that, although it's blatantly clear and obvious that some sections of the media, such as the independent have a hatred towards Sinn Fein.
The independent has been forced by the press council to apologize to Sinn Fein numerous times for making up fake news against Sinn Fein including extraordinary claims that Sinn Fein orchestrated a massive campaign of bullying and intimidation against RTE.
Putting asylum seekers in re-education camps. You didn't think that was it? Go on, scramble for a shinner equivalent :)
So, which of Veronas views or what she did meant she should be gotten rid of?
the individuals have done their time and have been rehabilitated, they are therefore entitled to a second chance.
it wouldn't as it's simple democracy.
the DUP are so incompetent and enough are seeing it to move away from it to other parties, thank jesus.
meanwhile yes sf have gone down a tad but they are still going to be in the majority and have enough votes to carry them over thankfully and they are going to win.
this is all fake news, sf and it's supporters do not engage in any of what you are claiming.
She was deselected after the criticism got too much. FG knew her views prior. Anyway I spoke about all parties having people some call antivaxxers for effect.
And yes, any party with a Verona Murphy should get rid.
Did Sinn Feins leaders and Donald Trump go to the same school, a lot of the same tactics are being employed (your on number 1 here):
1. The mainstream media is the enemy of the people/ there is a broad conspiracy between the establishment and mainstream media to keep us out (it helps to cultivate this way of thinking because then as soon as a story is printed that shows you in a bad light, you can automatically discredit it as part of the conspiracy)
2. We are going to drain the swamp
3. All other parties are the same, we're different
4. Childish nicknames for opponents (sleepy joe/crooked hilary/mehole martin/Leo the leak etc etc)
5. Deflect, deflect, deflect. It doesn't matter how factual or pertinent the point is, it can always be countered with "Yeah but FF/FG did ......"
6. They stole the election from us/we were the rightful winners and are being excluded from government by the establishment
7. A cult like, unquestioning faith in the leadership
There's probably more but these are the obvious ones
Murphy was deselected by FG, I'm sure you'll be pushing for the same to happen to similar SF candidates from here on.
Also "anti vaxxers" in FF/FG too. But like the SF ones its people asking questions and being hesitant. Calling them antivaxxers makes more of an impact if inaccurate.
You can find that sort of crap in any major political organisation not just Sinn Fein, sure I remember only a couple of years ago FG candidate Verona Murphy said we need to de programme asylum seekers as they have been infiltrated by Isis.
Plenty of morons in every political organisation.
Indeed you only had to look at the quality of candidates they lazily put out.
A rent dodger and charity defrauder; an antisemite (at least one); a few antivaxx headers etc etc.
RTE had no right to try and keep the second most popular party (according to polls at the time) from appearing on the leaders debate. Thankfully after threats of legal action and massive outrage nationwide RTE then realised they could not get away with this and did a U turn the day before the leaders debate and invited Mary Lou to appear on the debate.
Apology accepted, and to be fair, the last time they let SF on, their blatant lies influenced the result of the presidential election ;)
(in reality, the popularity of SF caught them all by surprise at the time, including, crucially, SF themselves, after a very poor local elections showing).
Apologies, after threats of legal action from Sinn Fein and widespread condemnation across Ireland, RTE at the last minute, the day before the debate reluctantly agreed to allow SF to take part in the leaders debate. Regardless it was a very sly attempt by RTE to try and influence the result of the election.
Go back to bed Harry, you are floundering here…….big time.
Wasn't it that SF weren't in the first debate (I think they were a rank outsider at the time, hence why they ran so few candidates) but joined in the later debates? MLM was in the debate on RTE a few days before the election:

Did she miss the previous one on Virgin Media?
This was only a year ago so should be easy to establish :)
No fake news at all blanch apart from the word of one person who stepped in who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, I've already provided links verifying my claims.
You and others seem to be having a hard time dealing with SF/IRA success, the most popular party in Ireland North and South.
They took part in the first one not the second one that happened the week before the election.
That's the yarn FF/FG are spreading. They said why would they invite members of the government they are protesting and complaining about to speak? Its the actions of these people they have a problem with. They said people from every party and none are welcome to attend but FF/FG want the soap box so they can act like its not all on them.
I don't believe MLMD raped anyone. Also you'd be fine with the parties assisted the mother and baby homes and have us in such a bad position regarding lack of resources and other help for battered women to speak?
Busted again
double figures now id say lol
RTE banned SF from the leaders debate during the last election
No they didnt - Mary Lou took part in the leaders debate
I must have missed Oliver Callans collection of opinion pieces and books on politics
I've not missed his culinary taste when it comes to the party he supports
But hey ho,he's funny
But laughter permaobjector Sinn Féin won't hurry up house building
That'll take 5 to 7 years or so of actual decisions, now that we have the freedom to make them and the pandemic behind us
I don't have any trouble dealing with this, but being first among a large number of equals isn't anything much to crow about.
Ok blanch I never claimed it was fact, either way Sinn Fein is still the most popular party in Ireland North and South. You seem to be having trouble dealing with this and have come up with these fantasies of people getting sick of Sinn Fein to help you deal with it
