It doesn't matter. Trump is generating more responses therefore Trump is winning. All hail the eternal winner who can never lose because we will just stand on our heads to make a loss a win. We bask in his orange radiance. All glory to covfefe!

It’s like saying covid was popular at Christmas.

Yes, for all the wrong reasons.

I also have a feeling he’s gonna more “popular”.

A couple of things - First off , There is no "Durham Report" it hasn't been published at all yet. No nowhere in anything that Durham has thus far published does it make any of the accusations being thrown around lately.

The ONLY people claiming that the Trump White House was spied on is Fox News et al via Kash Patel and they are categorically wrong on that front.

They are doing what they always do , taking isolated unconnected pieces of information and stitching them together into a tapestry of bullsh!t to create a narrative.

The company that that Sussman represented (owned by Rodney Jaffe) did indeed do work on the White House Servers doing research on Network Security , this work was done during the OBAMA administration. Nothing whatsoever happened during Trumps time in Office , not ever.

And Durham never claims that it did

    (1) Sussmann’s conversation with the CIA had already been reported last October (2) Durham never once said anything about the White House being “infiltrate[d]” (3) the special counsel also never claimed the Clinton campaign had paid Joffe’s company and (4) perhaps most importantly, “the filing never said the White House data that came under scrutiny was from the Trump era.” In fact, lawyers for the data scientist who helped develop the data analysis in question, say this happened during— wait for it—Barack Obama’s presidency.

In yet another example of how fantastic Fox News is at journalism last night "Judge" Janine went off on one about Biden and how it was all his fault that there was rioting in 2020 and that he should have done something about it - When Trump was President.

Biden – the same guy who, in the summer of 2020 – decided that he would allow people to burn down, you know, streets and businesses and create all kinds of problems and arson and criminal acts and police injured.”

This is the standard of tripe that Fox News pushed out, alongside endless Russian Propaganda pushed by Tucker Carlson.

He brought up Seth Rich again recently while flatly lying about Russian interference in 2016 - Of course he didn't say the name out loud because Fox were sued and lost for doing it before , but he worked hard to get people to remember the lies that he an Hannity pushed the last time..

"66% of Democrats believe Hilary should be questioned about the Russia allegations" isn't the smoking gun the poster seems to think it is, though it sure is a distraction.

If true, it would suggest that those Democrats value accountability and transparency and would like to see the issue investigated in the hope that she would either be cleared or caught out if there's been any wrongdoing on her part.

I fail to see how this can be seen as some kind of weakness for Democrats; it just doesn't tie in with the Trumpist quality of avoiding the issue and pointing the finger in the other direction.

Don Jr. posted a screenshot of what he claims is Daddies first post on Truth Social which apparently goes live next week (on Presidents Day)

The screenshot has a remarkably familiar interface

Apparently his first "Truth" was "Get ready! Your favourite President will see you soon!"

    Already lying...

Well - To be fair , if you are following him on "Truth Social" then he probably is "your favourite President".

He's not anyone elses favourite by quite some margin , but for the narrow band of acolytes that will join his scam network, it's probably a true statement.

The guy is such a loser. There really isn't much else to say at this point.

Bang of "I'm Going To Build My Own Theme Park With Blackjack and Hookers" from that.

Also, if he's the first person on it, why does he have to have the @reallDonaldTrump handle? Why isn't @DonaldTrump available?

It's almost as if it's photoshop of an old twitter page. But that would mean...but surely he couldn't...

I'd well believe it's not photoshop and that it's genuinely a screenshot of their new site. I think the reason he has realdonaldtrump is the same reason everything else looks exactly like Twitter; he wants it to be his Twitter again. He was realdonaldtrump on Twitter, so he's realdonaldtrump on Truth. He had that profile pic on Twitter, so he has that profile pic on Truth. Changing the verified checkmark to red instead of blue seems to be the only different design other than changing Tweets to Truths, not sure if it's to rep the Republican party/Red States, or if they legally had to change at least something.

It's hilarious how he just admits his crimes. Letitia James couldn't have found a dumber criminal to investigate if she tried.

The funny part is, they're accused of lowering the asset value for tax purposes, and raising the value for loan/sales purposes, so they're snookered. Yet Trump still has to throw in "They're more valuable than we said!" due to his ego.

I wonder how long after it goes live before it's hacked to death. Furry porn ftw?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,368 ✭✭✭✭ohnonotgmail

It will probably be hacked even before it goes live. previous right-wing social media sites have not been very secure. being secure costs money.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,654 ✭✭✭PropJoe10

The last one was hacked, and his profile was updated with a picture of a pig taking a dump. Only the best cybersecurity experts on Donald's team!

It's obviously going to crash and burn spectacularly - How could it not?

Other than adverts for Pillows where does the money come from.?

All that's going to happen is that Trump will post on "Truth" and get a bunch of fawning likes , then his post will get cross-posted to Twitter/Facebook where 95% of the engagement will occur , giving all the money to "Big Tech".

Also , if the interface is as the screen-shot suggests surely then Twitter might have a solid copyright claim ?

It is almost like trump wants to hide something.

The New York cases are the ones that are most likely to do real damage to him.

From the AG case , It is absolutely imaginable and even realistic to envision a scenario where the Trump Organisation is wound up and all of its assets sold off to meet the costs of fines/penalties etc. along with Trump and his off-spring being personally fined large sums of money and banned from ever holding Corporate office again.

Less likely but still quite possible would be criminal charges against members of the Trump family (my money remains on Eric being the fall-guy here) from the NY DA case.

The SPAC they are using to "fund" this effort is also under investigation by Financial regulators for not following the SPAC rules . They have no business plan or corporate structure listed , all things that a SPAC is supposed to have.

The only "officer" listed for the SPAC is a guy called Patrick Orlando , who is also the CEO of a company headquartered in Wuhan, China of all places!!

    All seems legit.

It's going to be a cess pit, irony and sarcasm will not exist, edgelords will be racing to outdo each other and getting frustrated when the natives agree with them.

BLM man involved in a political assassination attempt against a Jewish Democratic Mayoral candidate. Of course bigot hacks like Joy Ried won't touch the story despite being a journalist. She's more concerned about Trumps social network. Its known radical far lefties love to have their bias confirmed back to them.
