It's not about it being 'finito', Putin was never going to invade, that has been very clear from the start.
'Having spent time' (your words in fact if you go back in the thread) and being 'far to close to front lines for comfort' you must appreciate more than most the fall out when imperial actors go to war or conflict and thus I'm sure you looked on with dismay at the troop build up and the agitating for conflict by Biden and Blinken etc in this inter imperial charade. You must also be relieved that there has been no 'imminent' invasion in the last 4-6 weeks!
You may not believe it's finished, that's your right, you're not only with the Ukranian Ambssador (interesting when they were intervening against US intelligence - they were broadly dismissed here) but also Biden and Co who've trotted out the same line. Just as Russia is about to "de escalate " , they'll suddenly have justification with some "crimes" in East Ukraine and there will be an incursion.. again. Shock horror.
