This is getting dangerously close to a very bad situation
The tank landing ships also left Sevastopol today
God help us all if there is a war!
Between Covid, an impending war, what next on our doomsday wheel of fortune?
1. Once more you missed the opportunity to condemn the US/UK backed Saudi war machine's attack on civilians in Sanna. You state Russia should be a pariah state IF they attack yet here we have three states ATTACKING civilians and you waddle on by, nothing to see here.
2. Once more you provide not one post written by me where I make any 'justification' for Russia's actions, haven't been caught rapid you now shift your position slightly to suggest that I make 'roundabout justification' but once more you fail to point to one post by me...
3. As for facts, I only deal in facts, the problem you have is the facts I post don't suit your narrative or your implacable defence of Western Imperialism.
You lads were far better craic last time out. Ye had 8 years to come up with some new material but it's the same old, and it's not like ye were Fleetwood Mac to begin with.
Your heart would break for Ukranians trying to live and thrive in such circumstances, caught up between two superpowers.
As to what's next... Massive cyber attacks. US stock market crash. Fertilizer price related famine. Out of control inflation. Robots fighting on the moon. Bohemians winning the league. It's going to be a doozy :D
Spiders with knives
That's not even half the ISR stuff up on a daily basis.
There seems to be an awful lot of Russian military movement along the border. Lots of helicopters, armour on the move and deployments
Margarita Simonyan (Маргарита Симоньян) on Russia 1 the other night stating Russia didn't start a war with Ukraine, but they should intervene to finish it, stating thousands of children are being killed, and that Russia can't stand by and wait until there are concentration camps with their people being gassed ....
@BluePlanet what do you reackon, mis-translated idioms again?
@BurgerFace what do you make of it? before you do a copy/pasta dump of gabage
edit: some set !
edit 2: Margarita Simonyan has some significance behind her, not just as editor in chief of RT
edit 3: body language tell much at the point where she says she's convinced Russia won't start a war
mucho propagando
what sites are you following for info or what search terms are you using on Twitter?
Someone just posted a tweet from this account earlier but it seems excellent. Great source of info on troop and equipment movements plus other news related to the situation
https://twitter.com/ELINTNews?s=20&t=UMnmoYXezx0arv60_X7lOQ
@Derkaiser93 i follow this one. I think Elint uses their videos too
That's a fairly good point .
Any number of economic sanctions could deter
I'll need to read more on the Russian economy
1. You're not condemning the US, that's my point, you are ignoring the US/UK backed Saudi war machine actually attacking civilians yet you're here waffling about an attack that hasn't happened!
2. You persist with this line about my 'support' for Russia yet you have yet to produce one post from me illustrating this support.
Indeed and they bring such objectivity to their reporting!
Is there anything to be said for saying another mass !!!..
Every post you have made on a thread about Russia attacking the Ukraine has been to deflect to the US/UK to in a roundabout way justify Russia's actions, this and the fact that you dont openly condemn Russia is support.
Again your whataboutery doesn't work here. Continue trying to deflect it simply doesnt work everyone here can see right thru it.
The account is balanced and retweets people who think the war is likely and also ones who disagree and think it is unlikely. Thankfully these people bring forth reasonable arguments and facts though, not deflections and Kremlin propaganda. Im terribly terribly sorry it does not tweet about the Gulf war and American meddling in Venezuela.
You sound like you are standing at Ukraines border ready to invade allready
it's an OSINT collation account... not a reporter... their subject is Russian movements... plenty of others on western movements in regards to Ukraine.
You're going to to have a very one sided view if you can't be arsed doing some legwork with OSINT... much like if we sat here all day believing your obfuscated garbage..
@BurgerFace night off last night?
Listen to yourself. Swap Russian for 'Anglo-Saxon' and this is like something a Russian gov representative would say. Freedom of expression is one of the things that makes the West worth defending. Maybe, with those authoritarian tendencies, you would be more at home in Russia? :)
Called in sick to go on the lash
I agree absolutely with you, I just said that in my post - there is no objectivity from them!
I am really worried about the present situation. Hypothetically, if Putin does strike, how will this affect us over here?
Vote today in Russian Parliament on whether to recognise the current break away regions as independent of Ukraine (if that goes through, it is considered Russian soil and a pretext to "officially" put boots on the ground).
Russian parliament to discuss draft bills on Donbass recognition | Reuters
Ties in with them posturing to how Ukraine should be split up on Russia 1 TV the other day (strangely enough they think remaining Ukraine should be taken over by Poland?
anyone any comments on this? Alternate facts from the Russian's potentially? Any other obfuscated views on how this is western propaganda?
You left out “the 70% invasion” - that was another one, 70% of Russian forces were in place to invade, you see the Russians informed Washington that they weren’t ready yet!
Media- Some Russian soldiers returning to their permanent bases
Is that it...
