Actually, just for the next time you are making this argument, be aware that Scandinavian Airlines used to fly to the USA over the North pole (because it was a shorter distance). The flat earth sites probably don't have that snippit of info, so you might want to come up with an argument to counter that fact. Maybe deny the existence of Scandinavia?

On a more serious note, there's no doubt that people's mental health has been affected by the COVID lockdowns and everything that has gone on the last couple of years.

Well here's a strange thing: right now, you can book a flight from Johannesburg to Eastern Australia and it will take you about 12 hours. But you can also buy a flight from Johannesburg to London, which will ALSO take you about 12 hours.
Here's the strange thing: if the earth is flat, you have to fly past Europe about half way to Australia. So why is the SA-AUS plane so much faster? Or the SA-UK plane so much slower?

The Gleasons 1892 map has been patented and is probably the closest depiction of what the earth looks like geographically and what was taught in schools up to the beginning of the 20th century
