haven't tried Grolsch in years, is it still brewed in NL, or is this a UK brewed version ?
It's a watered-down 4% ABV version. Sounds like it's brewed in the Netherlands though.
Sainsbury's have a scottish whisky sale on at the moment, decent prices for some of the bigger names:

Vina Sol white only €8 a bottle in SV. Best price before MUP was €7,60 in Dunnes. and that was pre Christmas. The missus wanted me to mention it. No deals on beer obviously. I'm paying the full whack. Vina sol isn't bad and at only 1.20 above the Aldi cheapest plonk, is a good deal.

I seen an article there that loads of supermarkets are going to start doing deals on crafties because at 1.70 1.80 a can is cheap for crafties.

I was thinking as a way of getting people back in this could be a way to go, or even droping the pricer Macros to Mup minimum prices. Im expecting to see boxes of 12 Peroni/Corona ect for €10 ( or however much the MUP min is) around paddys day.
I was in Aldi yesterday, they'd Jameson and bush mills for €23 70cl
Peroni isn’t far off MUP in Tesco. 12x330ml for €17, MUP is €15.93
Aldi and Lidl have pretty much done this by not putting up their previous prices for their 4.5% and 4.8% very good craft beers.
I've recently been contacted by SuperValu about their craft prices so you mightn't be far wrong. Only problem is they don't have any 'own brand' range yet and dropping the price of their branded stuff by 60 odd cent wouldn't be good for anyone involved.
