A rerun would play right into what the Democrats want, turn-out would be high, trump has turned away all the moderates and convinced the rest not to bother voting, the GOP need to figure out how to keep him on side but step aside or hope his health fails, they could have cut him loose after Jan 6th and been done with it by now heading to the mid terms with the chance to get eyes on new primary candidates.
