And so does his brother as well to have the confidence to post the video on social media in the expectation all it would do was raise a laugh.
I've no doubt some people are so pathetic they keep animals just to be mean to them.
Hope he gets the boot himself.
There is a lot of pushback against him in UK too Fandymo.
Eden hazard got a three game ban for kicking a teenage ball boy
The only cat that it is ok to kick is the one from pet cemetery. She was one evil bi+ch.
Kicking an animal that feels pain just the same as we do isn't a mistake, he's a f*cking prick and I wish him nothing but bad luck for it.
One thing about the Brits is they are a nation of animal lovers so he's in for a rough time of it.
They are very expensive Bengal Cats, so there is not a chance in hell they will be put to sleep.
Well not all animals just the small furry ones
One thing about the English is they are very fond of their pets. This chap will get a horrendous time now and god help him if he has a bad game he will get some abuse
Yeah, the whole of twitter commenting on Zouma are Irish begrudgers 🤣
Cant believe anyone is even considering condoning his actions here and saying the cat misbehaved.
FFS.
The video was put up on Social Media complete with lots of laughing emojis. The two boyos found it hilarious. Laughing at an adult slapping a cat in the face while it is in a child's arms. Then hitting it with shoes. Kicking it across the room. Terrible behaviour in front of his own child. Teaching the child its ok to beat animals, because they can.
There is no justification for this. None.
The bizarre bit is on Sunday, they found it absolutely hilarious, then by Tuesday, they were so sorry. Like seriously.
The brother is suspended now as well from his team, pending the RSPCA investigation.
‘The Club has therefore decided that until the RSPCA has completed its investigations, Yoan will not play for Dagenham & Redbridge in any competitive match. Any further action deemed necessary to be taken will be made at the conclusion of the RSPCA investigation.’
It's two weeks wages. Probably a bit more than an average person would be fined for animal cruelty in court but in relative terms not way out there.
The loss of any sponsorship deal and possible future inability to attract sponsorship will cost him more in the long run. That and clubs possible reluctance to be associated with him will hurt him more.
Irish begrudgery is a myth.
You are having a laugh with your outrage
Anyone over 40 with Irish parents probably saw one or other of them kick a cat. If a cat came into a house back then it might have escaped with a gentle kick up the arse on the way out. If a cat jumped up on a table when you were having your dinner it couldn't get out quick enough....no 0.5 million to charity either. .
I won't even start into what some farmers used to do to kittens to keep numbers down.
It was a **** thing to do and he shouldn't be let near an animal, but it's a f n cat for fck sake. The very people who spout on about compassion are usually the last to exercise it.
He's been dragged through the coals, been public enemy no 1 for 3 days , has god knows how many death threats from loons who wouldn't help a granny cross the road and fined 0.5m.
It's bullying now and it says just as much about the people venting their spleen at him as it does about him.
"New" account defending scumbag with the tired old both sides nonsense. No thanks. My parents didn't kick our cat. Not once.
Sponsors will certainly keep their distance…
Adidas say good luck and fück ya, Vitality too so does travel company Experience Kissimmee who are rightfully outraged and openly damning at West Ham’s attitude …
great to see the club too hauled over the coals and getting their reputation fûcked down the shoot…perfect…
such bad judgement could cost the club millions in sponsorship.
People have little to no sympathy for people who hurt animals or kids.
It's the cowardly nature of it, the fact these things are so helpless and depend on us for everything, he's a scumbag out and out, Id be worried for that child in the video too tbh.
Weird comment that most people would see their parents kick a cat?
We were brought up as well to respect and cherish animals.
People setting their views on a topic in the public domain is bullying now ?
hahaha right :)
I'd wonder about the household you grew up in if you think this is normal behavior
I think it's the poster with the wall of text who tends to look more outraged.
It's about bullying the defenceless, animals, children and the elderly.
Scum.
Exactly, physical abuse of any sort is not a 'mistake'
physical abuse for enjoyment suggests a deeper lying psychotic problem
His club made things worse by playing him the other day. Suspend him for a couple of weeks at least, fine him his maximum 2 weeks wages. The sponsors pulled out after he played.
It would be a non issue at this stage. He'll get booked when he came back for a couple of weeks and it would have been over.
What most certainly didn't help was his manager saying he was playing because he is one of the better players. And shockingly when the Watford fans booed him, a lot of the West Ham fans started clapping him.
Dragged up*
Agreed.
From the video it also looked like he had the kid place the cat on the table so he could slap it, anyone that does that needs help.
Lets keep it in perspective, Two Weeks wages.
Makes you question the human race. I feel physically sick at the excuses.
Not just had him place the cat, he knew the drill.
You have me there, in fairness
A normal one thankfully,
Depends upon the manner in which they express those views, no?
I'd hate to be down 2 weeks wages.
