Why would they walk off, they are paid to do a job by the broadcaster, petty and spiteful behaviour by yet more vacuous and hypocritical celebrities.
Right-Wing Pastor Greg Locke Holds 'Witchcraft' Book Burning
Tennessee pastor held a "witchcraft" book burning where followers were encouraged to bring Harry Potter and Twilight books to hurl into the flames.
Bloody cancel culture again.
Has any organisation, culture or indeed Leader, of anything ever, anywhere?
Ever led a book burning campaign that led to them ever being remembered as being on the right side of history?
Pretty sure that from Shi Huang Di through to the Mongols, the Spaniards and the Nazis...
That burning books is a surefire way of spotting the baddies 🤔
For a guy with anarchy in his name it’s odd that you feel people should just fall into line. Maybe they felt they didn’t want to have anything to do with Rudy?
Because he's a horrible slime-bag and they don't want to have anything to do with his futile attempts at rehabilitating his public image.
If I had any kind of public image I wouldn't want to be associated with him either.
They are exercising their freedom of expression - The expression in this case being one of disgust and disdain one would imagine.
I'm sure it's hard enough for the judges to feign interest and excitement for some of the low-grade nobody celebs that appear on the show. Can't blame them for walking off when a scumbag who was trying to help subvert democracy on behalf of a wannabe dictator is dancing for peanuts to try cover his legal bills.
I never said people should fall into line , far from it.
I do however have an issue with sanctimonious virtue signalling hypocritical people playing up for the camera.
Thicke, the guy has a very chequered past himself.
How is thicke even on the show with his history of sexual assaults and so on.
What a hypocrite but to be expected when dealing with lefties.
I only opened that article in a private browser window. Probably should've put a disclaimer on that, or a warning for people to do the same. Sorry about that!
I dont think he actually believes any of it, but he knows that his base is stupid enough to believe every word of it. So that's why he persists with it. Whatever you might say about Trump, he's a master manipulator.
Hypocrisy and lefties go hand in hand.
Do as we say not as we do.
Thicke is a misogynistic creep, that's more in line with "righties" I'm afraid. It's a wonder he's not a fan of Rudy.
I would have thought if anything Thicke and Giuliani would bond over their shared history of sexual misconduct accusations.
Rudy married his cousin.
He appeared in the borat movie and put his hand down his pants.
Not to mention everything that’s happened in the last year.
A total weirdo.
But Sarah Palin was on the show.
And there was no problem.
Think we should wait till the episode comes out.
The whole argument about which political leaning is more prone to sexual misconduct is a bit mad, and missing the point. If someone does the crime it doesn't matter which party they're in. But just out of curiosity, I did a quick check of Wikipedia for political sex scandals.
Counting just the last decade the numbers involved were 16 Republican, 6 Democrat. Doesn't prove anything though because the entire argument is stupid.
It was a show on Fox.
And you're screaming about Lefties? Your on brand for that network, I'll give you that.
Ha Tara Reade and the Clintons, it's like Republican bingo. Who's next on your list, Hunter Biden? As a previous poster stated, the whole "argument" is ridiculous.
I like how the discussion was brought round to sexual things for some reason. If the two judges on a tv show wanted nothing to do with a guy who tried to subvert American democracy that’s really their own business. I don’t see how it’s any type of hypocrisy at all unless either of them have tried to subvert American democracy.
really this is just some conservatives lashing out at people they perceive to be liberal because they had the neck to have an opinion of their own.
GOP resolution committee at RNC winter meeting unanimously approves the censure of Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger — the two House Republicans on the Jan. 6 committee
How dare they have their own thoughts on something, has anyone shouted hypocrisy at the pair of them yet?
If Robin Thicke was a contestant rather than a judge and some judges walked off after he was unmasked, I'd also have no issue with that. F*ck Robin Thicke. Regardless, I'm sure half the time the judges either don't care who the contestants are, don't know them, or don't like them for a variety of reasons. Once that mask is lifted, it could be a wide array of arseholes. Whether they put on an excited face and just grin and bear it or whether they protest against it, I couldn't give a f*ck.
But Rudy is just that special kind of uber-arsehole, who was helping a megalomaniac wannabe dictator to try and overthrow a democratic election in order to override the will and votes of the people and has helped do irreperable damage to people's faith in democracy and elections, which will continue to have a monumentally damaging effect going forward. He should not be lauded. He should not be standing smiling on a stage while Ken Jeong tells him "Hey, we all know you were working to try destroy democracy, but you looked like you've been having a lot of fun up on stage so well done!"
He shouldn't be given a stage to stand on. F*ck Rudy Giuliani. F*ck Robin Thicke also, but f*ck Rudy Giuliani way more.
Just glad to see he's getting the treatment he deserves. Too many of these fuckers walking around like they've done nothing wrong.
Seems to be the new path to reputational rehabilitation - case in point: Sean Spicer, who lied to the American people daily on the orders of Trump, capering about on Dancing with the Stars like he's just an ordinary C-list celeb. He's not, he's a cunt, and he should not be allowed to forget it.
Couldn't agree more.
Spicer lies every fûcking day to the American public and he gets applause? **** that.
Rudy did much worse. The decision to book him was utterly ridiculous
vacuous and hypocritical? are you talking about trump?
this came up on my twitter feed this morning. Just a reminder of what a moron Trump is. He thinks a special forces team not going through the front door is amazing
He was also on the late late !
Covfefe!
The "best orator to hold that office in generations."
sanctimonious virtue signalling hypocritical people
Possibly the most "Internetty" phrasing ever on this thread.
So you are saying they are not entitled to their opinion because they are celebrities?
Oh God.... Do we REALLY want to go down that path? About what apparently goes hand-in-hand with "Lefties" and "Righties"?
Really?
