From other posts I have seen on here you may have a wait. I suspect that they are receiving many orders for the bottom of the range (ie white) option from potential buyers who then get cold feet and wave their deposit goodbye. My earlier than expected delivery is likely due to that.
Blue, 19” Standard
I’ve also filled in the SEAI forms , all I’m missing is a VIN. I’m still hopeful I’ll get one in March but I think the Feb ship has sailed at this point. BTW I ordered mid Jan, grey rwd.
My VIN was assigned within days of filling that form out. So definitely a good sign.
From what I can tell, they love cash buyers and may even prioritise these deliveries
I know there is a billion tutorial videos on youtube for the M3, but this one came out a couple of weeks ago covering the V11 software update - learned a couple of new things myself. Suggest playing back at 1.25x speed to get through it faster.
Check out Bjorn's latest video. LFP M3 is a phenomenal car. Check out his range/efficiency in cold weather... impressive

I ordered the same but mid December, no sign of any SEAI forms here. From what I've read VIN assignment is pretty chaotic even for cars on the same ship so maybe there's some hope!
If you hold down the ‘voice’ button on the steering wheel for a second, it uses Siri instead of BMW. Works perfectly on my 6yo idrive, I use it all day every day for phone calls mainly, but also the usual random questions etc etc
Hard to argue with the LFP version of the M3 at the moment. Potentially the best EV on the market now, rather than the LR.
As discussed yesterday, there’s a window now for sr+ owners to sell into this silly 2nd hand market and jump to the LFP instead.
Did you order grey as well?
Wife has a 2021 840d. I think we counted 63 buttons between the dash, steering wheel and driver's door!!
Heated seat occasionally turns itself on (passenger side) and the actual seat feels like it is ready to go on fire it's that hot (even though the seat button shows it's not switched on). Fan on 1 sounds like a normal car on 6 or 7 and if you turn it off the windows fog up almost immediately.
Front tyre sensor seems to be playing up as well. Telling her the wheel is soft but checking it and it's perfect.
German build quality? 🤔
cash is a much simpler process. Cuts out the AIB steps, they have their own issues and staff shortages at the moment
Yes. RWD; 18inch aero; black interior; grey was my order.
the tyre sensors go off in winter because of the run flats. I’ve had them for a decade and you could set your watch by the tyre sensor going off on the first frosty morning
Do we know what are the differences between those 2 motors? E.g. is the new one less powerful and more efficient maybe. I know there was a reduction in 0-60 time recently but was that because of something else maybe?
Hi all
Ive a 211 SR+ with the LFP battery and should have a usable battery of 52.5kwh (as per ev-database). 14000km on the clock
I have been keeping an eye on it lately and all my calculations are indicating that I have only 44kwh usable.
I know its mild but hardly cold by any means.
Can anyone explain?
Cheers
Hi, im going through the process of buying a model 3, i'm part finance it through tesla and the rest is cash and sale of my car. My car is due for delivery in march but more likely Apr/ May, i got an email saying finance approved and the next step is the pay the balance of the car which is 38k. It means i'd have to sell my car now and have no car for weeks/months, that cant be right😪
The JATO Dynamics reports make for some interesting reading:
Very healthy result for Tesla. Hard to see it being maintained as car production begins to normalise with semiconductor shortages (hopefully) easing as the year goes on. Also a bunch of new EV models are due come to market over next 12-18 months.
If the car is not moving, it won't count the consumption figures of the climate control system in its overall numbers...
Could it be that?
AFAIK You only have to pay the balance once you get a delivery date, not immediately when you are finance approved.
When did you order and what spec?
2 weeks ago, SR Midnight grey, aero wheels.
39 Model 3’s now for sale on Carzone, trade offers will likely soften now. Before Christmas there was well under 20 for sale.
I don't think so. I've turned off Sentry Mode and am driving with the Aircon off for the past few days but no real change in the figures.
I'm stumped to be honest.
See attached photo if it helps
1770 tesla model 3s sold here since 2019, so 39 model 3s for sale would be normal enough I'd say
I asked Tesla for a price for mine.
2020 M3P with 20k on it. If it wasn't too expensive I'd think about going for the newer long range model.
I clarified this with Tesla this week. They said;
Payment must be cleared our end at least 7 days ahead of your collection at the latest to give us time to register your new Tesla and complete invoicing.
My brother and I both have 2021 cars, his is a Tesla and mine is a BMW,
I have had zero issues.
The list of issues he has had with the Tesla are endless, from bad paint work to Ill fitting panels, the list is endless.
Chinese build quality 🤔
Yep but for a long time and up to very recently there was hardly any.
It looks like your range is about 275km if your battery was at 100% when last charged. How would that compare to your normal range with that battery?
Most other cars seem to record total kWh used incl battery heating, cabin heating etc. Does the M3 not do similar?
