Bloody bsatard. Put me in the mood. I suppose I'll do with a pot noodle 😡
Chicken balls and a 3&1 for me
Got this guy to pose last night.
Ah he's gorgeous, i love the various colours he's got going on.. Will he get some of the feast?
😂😂😂
Cleaned oven and went to psychologist, went to bed, awake again. Ouch..
Deskside in the work office, in between exam board meetings today.
Grabbing a quick sandwich as I was working through lunchtime earlier.
Happy ZOT to you Grem.
Fun fact: I can wish you a happy new year in Chinese.
Phonetically it's "Kung hey faq choi."
I learned that in my Tai Chi days.
So todays menu turned out to be, an orange, dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, shrimp spring rolls, full fried fish (complete with eyes), chicken noodle soup and a dessert of coconut rice with fresh mango. (some purchased but most cooked by the missus)
So we definitely started the Chinese New Year in style.
And for the Mutt 🐕
Fish eyes 🤢🤢🤮
A hot beef role with horse raddish sauce and onions. Home made wedges. A small independent deli on south side Dublin. Pricey, but very tasty. Ya don't mind paying if its worth it and this was well worth it.
It was the remastered version of Alien and stands up well alright. I usually put this down to how it was shot and the style of Ridley Scott who was among a group of pioneering directors around that time who threw off the conformity issues.
In other news and in line with the general mood here since I started posting again....humanity is disgusting and getting worse. The innocent and nice peeps are affected most. I shall enjoy my pork chop, mash, onions, mushrooms and mushy peas to an expanded degree along with a simple strawberry milk.
I heard Gok say it on This Morning at near half twelve today, I was still in the leaba watching him cook a tasty Chinese dish!
I have Deliverance on here with the food and milk. I reckon I'm worth it in it's simple simplicity! Dueling banjos at the time of posting. Epic!
Wide awake, the rescue helicopter is hovering in the same spot for the last 20 mins, it's always a worry when that happens, hopefully nothing too serious.
Two days talking to people who have fled Afghanistan. Devastating to listen to, puts my rubbish problems into perspective. Poor poor people 😭
How did that come about? (If you don't mind me asking)
Are they the family that are coming to Cork? What terrible lives some of them have, we are so lucky to live here.
part of their acceptance into Ireland is a security interview, usually done in overseas refugee camps, but obviously in this case it's a little different, they left quickly, interviews held here. It's part of my job.
There are families in different parts of Ireland. It's total shock and devastation for them. Luckily most of them have found everyone they have met in Ireland to be very nice and welcoming, I just hope that continues!
I feel your pain.so many times I lay awake not being able to sleep. I found listening to BBC5 live helped me , then phenergan, ! 😡. So many times I've listened to the 2/3/4/5/6 o'clock news only to feel tired at 7 when I had to get up.
He has his usual CHICKEN FEET, we try not to give him processed dog treats.
Gotta totally agree with you, but the missus loves them.
Having just finished reading “The Afghanistan File” by Prince Turki Alsaud, I was lead to believe that the people of Afghanistan are incapable of living with the people of Afghanistan, just too many ethnic groups thrown into the same defined area of land.
I suppose the place never got the chance to form into a nation-state (or states) in an organic way. Too many invasions to ever settle down.
Deskside in my work office, two lectures done this morning and another to prepare for this afternoon. Busy, busy, busy...
On the plius side, last night's Zooom yoga class what just what I needed to de-stress after a hectic day. 😊
Unfortunately it looks like most of the issues are homegrown rather than external.
Sitting watching the daytime quizzes, lingo, then tipping point ( if I can be arsed) then the chase. I've turned into a middle aged house wife 😡😡😡
Well the Taliban are not exactly home-grown. Many neighbouring countries prefer to have Afghanistan the way it is.
