I just don't get the argument's against assisted suicide.
They seem to be motivated out of an extreme ideological view.
Have no idea what 'disability' has to do with anything in this discussion.
Very weird counter argument guest choice there.
Disability activists are central to the debate on AS.
A lot of disabled people are fearful of AS legislation.
Many feel that those with intellectual disability are especially vulnerable.
I support AS legislation myself.
It's an angle I've never heard of before, and I've listed to many debates on AS.
Don't really get the argument. It would be so easy to legislate to bar people with a disability from AS. And anyway, the point of AS is not that one is feeling bad about their situation, but that they are suffering physically from pain to stay alive. And, that modern medicine is keeping them alive that puts then in their situation in the first place.
So I really don't get what people who have disabilities have to worry about.
