By any chance is anyone aware of any new build developments that are due to launch in Naas this year?
I know some sort of work has started opposite Longstone, but didnt find anything about expected launch dates? Everything else seems to be sold out.
I would think the rest of Whitehorn Village will be completed
Expected in 2022, I like the developer's high standard of works, they are selling station walk at Newbridge, I popped over to have a look, the finish is unreal. ( Vs whitehorn ), have not seen any development is premium than it.
Cleanest town in Ireland!
Thanks to Naas tidy towns not naas county council .
Second that. They are tireless in keeping the town clean with little thanks.
agree - KCC is just piece of S*it - look the rd condition at Sallins rd, so poor
I was looking at the news report on Virgin Media about it, and the video footage was of litter, both in and out of rubbish bags. Why not show the clean streets of Naas rather than focussing on what a littered area looks like?!? 🙄 🤨
Fair play to the local Tidy Towns people for doing a great job.
Anyone have recommendations for a good garden patio company, reasonable rates and quality work? Not looking for anything too fancy shmancy but want reliability and honest work
Its Ballymore Homes - they have a stellar reputation. Set up originally in Ballymore Eustace and now one of the big international players with huge development in London Docks and Canary Wharf. Beechdale in Blessington is one of their developments from circa 1992 and it still looks good
Agreed, way better compare some Mikey mouse developers in Naas.
Can't go wrong with Ballymore, built alot of the houses up in craddockstown.

I hear the train station feeder bus is no longer being operated by Tom cross. Anyone know if there is a new operator?
Where did you hear this? It may be an idea to confirm this with Irish Rail or contact James Lawless,
It was on the Naas Ball FB Page
Thanks for that. I have tweeted Irish Rail asking about who will replace Tom. It will be interesting to see if they reply.
I hope they rectify it quick.
Didn't even realise there was a feeder bus, what route does it take?
It starts from the railway station and goes to Poplar Square, out Blessington Road, up past Hazelmere and down past the hospital to the Post office. From there it goes out Sallins Road, turns into Morell and on to the railway station. However in the evening it only serves Poplar Square from the 17.30 and 17.35 (from Heuston), as it goes back to the station for the 18.25 service from Grand Canal Dock. The last train it meets is the one that arrives in Sallins around 19.00 and does the full round trip.
As Tom is retiring this week it would be good to know who will replace him, especially now that the regular commuters that use the service are gradually returning to work after virtually 2 years stuck at home.
it has brought some life to the area, it was a dead zone previously
As mentioned in an earlier post I contacted Irish Rail regarding a replacement feeder bus service between Naas and Sallins rail station. Here is the reply I got.

Hi John, This is still in the decision-making process. A final decision has still to be made - MH
Anybody else here having issues making calls on Eir Mobile today?
Forgot all about the cycle tound the town. Did anyone do it?
New train Feeder bus operator is B Kavanagh 🙄
When does this come into effect? I ask as I contacted James Lawless (as a fellow NASRUG committee member) and he mentioned that he only found out about Tom (as it turns out losing the Irish Rail contract and not retiring) last week, contacted Irish Rail and had not received a reply as of Friday.
Hi,
Does anyone know if the Tuesday music night in the Town House hotel is still/back happening?

Hi guys, moving into oldtown demesne in naas, just wondering anyone have any idea of a good broadband provider, working from home so needs to be quite good.
Is the hurling on TV later on? Someone said it's on tg4 but I'm not seeing it?
