Do you need a Now tv box to run this or can it be done via a Firestick? Might be tempted by Sky Sports for 14 a month for the rest of the season
it works on Apple TV, and you can cast to chromecast from the app on your phone/tablet also.
Yes, works on the fire stick. I upgraded from chromecast to fire stick just to get the higher frame rate from the boost option. I find football looks a bit jittery at the lower frame rate without boost.
Now TV app can be downloaded into fire stick direct from the amazon apps store.

cheers thanks. I have a Chromecast and stream PL through it at the moment and the picture aint great sometimes so would use the Firestick instead. Might get Sky Sports for a few months till the end of the PL season, that way Id get a few F1 races and the Augusta Masters as well.
Supervalue in Sutton have the sticks for 15 euro with a months free entertainment and movie pass. Picked up another one.

Yes looks like a new tactic to not offer it. I wonder is it offered x number of times and no more or are they just stopped offering it to all? I believe it was 3 times I have cancelled the sports and 3 times I was offered the discount when I did, next time it's up is March.
I'm in a similar boat, my Sports subscription expires Feb 18th, but I have a free month to add from buying a Now TV stick. Perhaps they are not inclined to offer any new deals on Sports with the new F1 season starting soon?
I cancelled on the 5th and haven't gotten any offers for Sports since, previously they've always offered a deal. Well, it's Now's loss, never going to pay the €39 a month.
