Enjoy throwing rocks at the EU Ireland and America from your safe armchair in Ireland. It must be lovely and easy from such a cosy nest in this country with all the safety and access to the open Internet you have.
If only folks in Russia or China enjoyed such open unobtrusive access they might find out how crappy it is there and how the authoritarian dictator harrasing all of their close neighbours trimming off bits of their countries. Attacking neutral countries health services systems is a really crappy thing to do.
Your a gas man for whataboutry from the safety net you have been born into horse
I'm no more sneering than he and others are doing, yet you're ignoring them because they side your opinion on the subject of the thread. Living somewhere doesn't make one an expert on the matters we're discussing and indeed to extend you're absurd 'logic' you must think the majority of Russian citizens supporting Putin are right!!! 🙂
He was polite enough not to pull rank on you. You're probably posting from a box room in Carlow and the closest you've gotten to Russia is a naggin of cheap vodka behind the handball alley.
Again with your disingenuous representation of my posts, I've explained several times what I'm doing, read my posts. Still no invasion BTW....maybe tomorrow? 🙄
So about as close as you then....note you're now sneering yet ten minutes ago you were chastised me for allegedly doing the same!
There is no majority of Russian citizens supporting putin they have zero say in the Matter .
90% of Russians if allowed free and open elections would likely vote for someone other than putin, but putin would be announced as winning another landslide victory .
You have two options in Russian elections
A - Vladimir Putin
B- Vladimir Putin
Winner Vladimir Putin oh the surprise I'm shocked
Been to Russia thrice, Ukraine once, Belarus once and Moldova (incl. Transnistria).
I'm pulling rank on you. You don't have a fiddlers about the region. You're spewing childlike nonsense page after page. If anyone has earned getting sneered at it's you. Your posts are embarrassing.
AMerICAn ImPEriAlism.
Any thoughts on the video itself?
Still reckon he was mugged by the stoppage in the Lennox Lewis fight.
Wladimir's English is much better, although I understand Vitali is fluent in German.
He's right ,
Dozvijenja Kamerad Felix. I leave that kind of gutter sniping to the gutter snipes. Oh, and as for soft skinned lad...the people who know me would certainly not describe me as such...and if you were in my shoes for any length of time ( one day, or a week maybe ? if you were still there, that is) SOFT is not how you would describe me either.
Oh , before I go..do you know who the Felix I mention is??? ( simple question for some one who is really clued into Russian history.) Millions of Russians do....
OK so do you have any sources for this information? I’ve been doing research and have found only a small amount of people leaving Crimea, literally found nothing to show anything that would have influenced the referendum result.
I found a story from the BBC of 800,000 people leaving eastern Ukraine as a whole, mainly ethnic Russians who left for Russia after they set up a visa free agreement.
The vast majority of people in Crimea even before the referendum were ethnic Russians, so even if they did all leave how would that have effected the referendum result? can you please link something to prove me wrong or are you just spouting complete lies?
A fat finger moment from the Russian President's Human Rights Council website in 2014 reveals an entirely different story on the Crimean 'referendum'.
Turnout was put at 30% with only over half electing to join Russia so to speak. So just about 15% of Crimean population voted to join Russia (source: the Russian government themselves).
Puts a bit of a different spin on things, doesn't it?
Only some one who has never really travelled could make a statement like that MFPM. And for sure if you had travelled, you would not make it either. But from personal experience and as some one who has travelled and lived in these Country's I know and understand a damn sight more than any armchair traveler. What Country's have you travelled to? Russia, ? I doubt it very much..your lack of knowledge about Felix is astounding. I lived there for several years. Also Afghanistan, Iran ,Syria, Pakistan, Iran etc, Plus a few really out of the way places where you will not find any tourists... And Yes, it has broadened my horizons immensely, a lot more than any books or armchair traveler TV shows could ever do, much as I've enjoyed them in the past.
Wrong. Go back to OP post and there is nothing about "an imminent invasion of a sovereign country by Russia"
That issue was implanted here by Russophobes like yourself and now you even try to moderate this thread.
Try more of real world and less of call of duty.
Oh come on buddy, at least make your posting history private before making up complete bullshit
Oh that's it we're all misunderstanding you and lying of course. I don't doubt you could go round in circles all day.
You might not like Putin, I might not like Putin, but the Russian people like him.
If you think 90% of Russians would vote for someone other than Putin you're away with the fairies.
Agree. I watched a documentary on Russia recently and the man is universally loved across the country.
Never bought into the idea and never will just like when his buddy in Syria got re- elected with similar vote counts, despite a civil war and Assad only controlling less than 18% of the country
your whole post is hypocritic for even saying that
It’s mainly propaganda from the west why we don’t like him, I don’t particularly like him but I know that’s probably because of how he’s portrayed in western media which is where I know him from most.
From the few interviews I’ve seen of him on YouTube he seems like one of the most level headed down to earth politicians around.
You believe that 90% is realistic
That's cute.
In a free and fair democracy, if the leader was offering a tenfold increase on salary and a new Mercedes-Benz you wouldn't get 90% of people to agree
Show me an example of one democracy in the world where someone has a 90% approval rate. Unless you're going to claim Russia is a democracy
Free and fair democracies like where for example? Great democracies like the two party systems of the USA and UK?
Hold a camera in front of anyone in or from North Korea and ask is Kim the greatest thing since the invention of the wheel, you get a yes. That of course changes if they aren't living there and don't have any family that can't be persecuted
Or a Lada!
No problem Harry, which part of the "bullshit" do you have problem with? I'll be glad to explain or discuss.🙂
What I meant was democracy is little more than an illusion, while there is such large wealth inequality true democracy cannot exist, which is the reason why two party systems exist in most of them because it takes massive amounts of money, power and influence to convince masses of people to vote for you, the two party system in Ireland only changed because of the massive wealth, power and influence Sinn Fein inherited from the IRA, anyway that’s off topic so I’ll just leave it at that.
Did you not read the post you replied to? Please provide some sort of proof to your claim that most people in Crimea were against Russia and this only changed because they all fled?
It seems to me you are just making up complete lies and denying simple facts.
