Theyve been crying laughing emojing for 2 years about it now, calling people sheeple, telling people to wake up, the MSM and every government (yes all of them!) are bought and paid for etc.
Theyve forever damaged personal relationships, isolated themsevles, formed weird little online communities and cast away friends and family who didnt have the same views as them. Or lost friends and family because they're a boring pain in the arse.

What is the “old normal”? The world has constantly changed and peoples habits changed. So what can you not do now that you could do pre-covid?

So far the only comments we've gotten is from the OP that they restrict breathing and make you "take on toxins" which is a lie.
And the claim that the masks are part of a global plot to "remind us that there's a pandemic" which is nonsense and something the poster immediately ran away from explaining further.
This seems to be the only thing conspiracy theorists have left to cling to.
All of this was a giant global conspiracy to make mask wearing more common for a while for literally no reason.

Japan's getting pretty close to 20,000 cases a day. They also have not begun their boosters yet.
Though saying there will be restrictions would be a stretch. Some places are asking for a "quasi-emergency". Last time that happened it amounted to an order for bars to close at 8 (which a lot straight up ignored) and for restaurants to not serve booze. And the schools would maybe close here and there for a day or two.
Everything and everywhere else was pretty much open.
There's no sign of anything like a covid pass or mandatory vaccinations. And there isn't any law or measure forcing masks.
