You believe that everyone should keep quiet about the wrongs done to this woman. Her family are hoping to sue Sinn Fein to vindicate her rights, supporting them and promoting her cause is the absolute correct thing to do for anyone with decency.

The IRA never said all of their members were going to disappear off the face of the earth, they said they were going to pursue their goals through peaceful means which they have done, so what is your problem?

the army council is not secret, the party members likely know who they are.
army council as i said is just another form of branding of the governing committee, calling it the army council is a way of showing party members that the governing body is robust.

yes, calling the governing body the army council rather then x committee is more likely to keep people in line who may be intending to bring the party into disrepute by behaving badly, and it is one of the reasons i like and vote for SF.

He was killed by former members of the IRA in 2005 during a fight in a pub, you can hardly blame the IRA and Sinn Fein for that anymore than you can blame the British army or British government if a former soldier killed someone in a pub.
