The Masonic Lodge in Dublin was set on fire tonight. A man was injured.
Absolutely disgusting and shameful to see a lot of the far right like Angela Ray and Grand Torino celebrating it and cheering it on.
It is silly.
It's silly that you can't accept that I would have spoken to people, who would be very left leaning who would have issues with freemasonry and be happy that there was a fire in the masonic lodge.
Actively celebrating? Is that saying "Good enough for them" or "Those bastards give me the creeps, karma in action" or other similar comments enough to consider it actively celebrating? Because that was the kind of response I got from a select few.
You have a history of making anecdotal claims in an effort to legitimise your point... So it's natural that people tend to take them with a grain of salt at this stage.
That's fair enough mike, and I said earlier, I completely concede that in this case, if situations were reversed, I would have reacted exactly like you did. I've no issue with that at all. While we don't often (if ever) agree, you have been pretty fair here.
Found out that I personally know the guy who did this. Kinda in shock.
Anything you can share? Nice guy, went off the rails after getting too deep into the wacky backy, maybe?
Oh really?
Any insight?
I know I searched out this thread but I'm now reluctant to give a lot of details. I know he did a bad thing but I know his family well. I wrote something lengthy out but deleted it. I'm sorry I need time to process this and want to respect the privacy of his family. Hope you understand.
I'll just say he was a nice guy at heart but troubled. Life wasn't kind to him at times. Acted alone. Deep in conspiracies. You could have guessed those details yourself.
