Because the North hasn't ignored it yet?
What's this got to do with SF he was never elected. Why are you posting articles from 2001 of comments from a man who is dead for years? You're certainly scraping the bottom of the barrel
They have ignored the issue until now, only getting round to it long after we have started to deal with it. Sinn Fein dragging their heels on children's rights again. Imagine having a record on Mother and Baby homes that is worse than this State's record? That is where SF are at.
By deal do you mean ignore and cover up? Have they started digging up the babies?
How are SF not showing up for a vote on hitting kids, (which they should have IMO) as bad as FF/FG/state for turning a blind eye to selling babies, decades of abuse towards women and at least one mass baby grave?
I don't think you have read the article I posted. The same things happened up North, and unlike here, Sinn Fein have been dragging their heels about even starting an inquiry. Down here, we have already had a number of inquiries into the Mother and Baby issue. Up in the North, Sinn Fein are almost pretending it didn't happen. Shameful of them, time they got a move on and started the inquiry.
I don't want to hear another word from you on Mothers and Baby Homes and your disgraceful whataboutery, using those poor women and children for political purposes, given SF's performance on the issue in the North.
lol i though Id come down and see why you guys like it so much down there 🙂😏
the point being of course , sfira and its links to crime and criminality
Everything the IRA did was illegal.
Give over. You've no credibility on this. You've no shame when it comes to using the murdered, even ones that don't relate.
Your latest abuse is to try use generations of state turning a blind eye up north to get a dig at SF. How long are SF making policy in NI? How can you compare that to the southern state enabling and allowing it and covering it up?
SF will add 20 new seats at the next GE, to the 37 they have now, giving them 57.
Most of the new seats will be taken from spineless FF, who have spent most of the last 10 years keeping FG in power.
The rest will come from the Greens, who have been found out, big time.. GP will be lucky to win a seat in the next 3 GE's.
So like it or not, we will all get a close up view of just how good or bad SF will be in power. I for one see them doing a great job. In time they will replace FF as top party.
FF top party? Typo?
They'll be in the next government with SF i reckon
Interesting. How do you see them doing a great job? Socially, economically, environment?
All of them,, yes
All of them. Interesting. And a border poll too maybe? What are the priorities?
All of them.
Does all include a carbon tax and fuel vouchers?
A wealth tax and no property tax?
A right to housing and a protection of property rights?
Free 3rd level education paid for by taxpayer and an end to elitism
Promotion of suckler beef and a ban on feedlot beef for the farmers?
Simultaneous abolition and retention of the SCC?
A ban on fox hunting and promotion of rural rights.
Protection of turf cutting and a clean air policy.
Rural connectivity but a ban on connectivity installations
I too am in favour of all these things.
there is no SFIRA, there is SF who is a legitimate political party and the IRA who no longer exist.
SF don't have any current links to criminality that i am aware of and even if they do, obviously it makes no difference to a substantial amount of the public who have voted for them at the last election and will vote for them in greater numbers at the next one.
I get your point on current links, but does that imply former links to criminality? Not that it matters, mind
no, the party itself never has had any links to criminality.
i think there have been a couple of criminals within the party over the years but that wouldn't constitute a link to criminality on behalf of a party.
How did the party deal with internal discipline issues?
Yes, they have been quite good at denying the good republicans every now and again.
they dealt with them via the process they set up to deal with them.
i believe that process is available online.
hardly given all of sf are good republicans as they have strived to improve the lives of people and some of them have even fought for the liberation of northern ireland from being one of the most sectarian statelets in the world.
I would have thought it would be easier to get removed from the Abú voter database after recording my details without my knowledge or permission.
Where online? The dark web?
on their website i would imagine.
i wonder what gerry means when he says they havent gone away ?

there are daily reminders in the the press and courts of sfiras connection to crime and criminality
i dont know why you not being aware of it would make much of a difference nor do i care
Check the policy. They should be able to. Stick it on their twitter page. It'll get sorted immediately then.

'daily reminders' a bit of a generalisation or spoof if ever I saw one.
He was talking about the IRA. The members didn't leave this dimension. Some are in SF in fact. You seem to have trouble understanding this. Its common knowledge.
Its old news. People are concerned about fixing housing, health and so on.
covering old ground and pretending your not again
most people are well aware that ira terrorists are now presenting themselves as law abiding people while at the same time they were never brough to justice for their crimes pre and post gfa and against innocent people . and the organization continues to shield them from justice
You keep mentioning an IRA SF connection like you just found out.
Yes, it was called the Good Friday Agreement. It was very much about the IRA, terrorists, passing themselves off as law abiding people. Kinda the point Mike.
I don't expect anyone to hold their hand up as a terrorist, part of an illegal organisation, to face 'justice' from the very people and institutions they waged war against. That would be foolish IMO.
