I use mine for Netflix, YouTube, Disney, all the usual. But also have vpn for hbo and hulu, other streaming sites too
Get a Xiaomi mibox , it's a Chromecast plus load any apps you want including Google TV
Can't get nowtv though, but most smart TVs have the app
Have Argos stopped selling/removed smart devices from their site?
They removed whole ranges of items at the end of September. They remain available on the UK site so not sure why they did this.
For example, Philips Hue on UK site...
On IE site...
Looks like its that time of year when Argos sell off random items (at huge reductions in fairness) where they might have only one or two of left in the whole country sending the resident Bargain Hunters into their yearly meltdown
Anyone tell me where the post is for the Argos trampoline discount code?? I'm 99% sure I seen it on boards, but can't for the life of me remember where!!

Thanks so much Aristotle👍
Silly question but where do you apply the code ? I only get the option to reserve with no discount code option
The 25% discount code ended on the trampolines last tuesday
Amazon Fire tv cube €56.25. https://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10152&catalogId=15051&langId=111&productId=1641552
For the Apple 13s I posted in the no chat thread, i have 3 mates who manged to get one...a steal at €100 less than Compub and Apple themselves.
Has anyone else noticed that Argos are showing "out of stock" on nearly everything on their Irish site?
yep - but i thought that was only on the clearance sale items.
mind you i did manage to get a gas bbq for €55 yesterday.
Saw this over on the non chat thread from MonkeyJoe https://m.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/7832068/Trail/searchtext%3EGarmin+6s.htm Did anyone go for one ? Looking like its RRP of €699 , I reserved one last night and I am wondering If I want it as I have a vívoactive 4 already (45mm model) - wondering if this being 42mm will be very small but also wondering if its such a bargain will I just got for it.
Its not that crazy of a bargain (it was £279 on Amazon in November for example) so if you're on the fence about it I wouldn't bother.
Thank you, I couldn't see it on amazon with the solar - not as good as I taught then.
My bad, didn't notice it was the solar version.
I've noticed this lot and they've also stopped stocking some items. Wanted the new Pokemon Legends game on Switch, it's on the UK site but they don't stock it in Ireland.
Yep, same - it's very hit and miss regarding stock. Also some odd decisions about what products they don't list on the .ie web site at all.
Collected my watch Saturday - good bargain. I see a few others did the same and have them on adverts at nearly twice the price they got them for.
@watchman.ie thanks for the hard drive.it's a sweet deal.
Have one ordered for collection at the weekend when it's in stock
No problem, after losing everything on a computer last year, was looking for something, but can now back up all the computers and media in the house. Yes, had to order for collection too, but it arrived overnight in the store!

What’s with the Xbox deal? No link in the post
Xbox Series S 512GB Digital Console and Official Xbox Stereo Wired Gaming Headset - Black for €299.99
Seagate 6TB Backup Plus Hard drive under €60, picked one up today, seems a lot more than half price!
Does anybody know if this can be taken out and used as an ordinary HDD?
TIA
You should be able to take the drive out without too much trouble by following this tutorial ( I plan to do the same once I collect mine.) I'd make sure there are no issues with the drive first as your warranty would likely be voided when you take the case apart
Anyone know if this can be setup with router using USB port to transfer data wireless over wifi ? Thanks
No stock seems to be left of the 6TB Seagate drives, does anyone know if you have ordered one will it be honored?
