Hi I was just wondering can you make your dirtbike road legal in ireland and if so how do you go about doing it thanks in advance.

I think if you move to Finglas or Ballyfermot they automatically become legal and dont need to be taxed or insured either!

no worries! you could email the VRT office directly to see what they say.

Don't mention the frame swapping thing, not technically the correct way to do it. just saves a headache

I imagine you would need to bring it to be VRT'd. But it would need indicators and road lights fitted.

The easiest option is find the road legal equivilent bike that was crashed but still has a good frame and swap all the parts over and register a new engine against the owners document
