No one is forced to take a vaccine, but no country can be forced to allow a foreigner to enter if their laws deny it.
I feel slightly sorry for him in one way. Nobody should be forced to take a vaccine. If it were any other player who arrived at that decision through a rational thought process, followed the rules given to them by the Australian authorities, then had the rules changed and were deported on arrival, it would have been brutal.
Unfortunately Djockovic believes in pseudoscienctific nonsense and has no regard for the seriousness of the illness. Him behaving as he did after his positive test and lying on his visa application was beyond arrogant. He has no regard for the seriousness of the illness or for Australian law, he was basically thumbing his nose at them. If people were wanting somoene to take an ethical stand against mandatory vaccinations, Djockovic is the worst person possible to make that case.
