    This car was a daily driver around here for a good few years. I took this pic a few weeks ago and it's gone since.

    This thread is sad in a way, I'm reluctant to 'like' any of the pics, but think of it as a thanks for posting. I get that owners may pass away or whatever, but taking the Beemer above, how hard would it have been for someone, anyone, to close the bonnet?

    Bonnet's bent, that's why it won't close. Wonder how long it's off the road, last change of owner was end of July 2002... Wouldn't mind getting a few bits off it for my own one

    I've done a bit of research since. I know the previous owner. He had it converted for disabled use. He sold it to the lad who has it now. I can get his number if you're interested.

    It was in everyday use till 07/08

    If you fully close the bonnet you may not get it open again. I leave the bonnets of my laid up cars unlatched like that, the last time the bonnets were fully closed was during the Beast From the East when a foot of snow on the bonnets closed them (yeah I did manage to open them after)

    This Volvo has been recovered by David Golding cars - was on facebook on Friday. The car clearly needs some bodywork, but it’s remarkably tidy and original underneath. Anyway, he’s inviting offers for anyone brave enough!

    Ok, this is weird. The video seems to have disappeared, but I didn’t imagine it! There was a walk around video and then photos, including where the car was loaded onto a recovery truck.

    Yes I thought the rear arch on the white one looked like a Proton until I realised the gate was in the way. And the fact it's a 2 door.
