I haven't been shown to be wrong. The "debunkers" saying something isn't permanent doesn't make it true. Save for a few crumbs, not a single measure has been lifted in Ireland. Masks, social distancing, vaccine cert, mass testing, a curfew for businesses (unbelievable considering that Ireland is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world). All remain. And signage, non-stop ads et al all fall under measures. Signs everywhere. Totally over the top stuff. Ireland is obsessed with covid.
If you left your bedroom then you would see much of what you think are restrictions have been lifted. However, it appears that you want to live in fear and ignorance.
You bounce all around the world though.
You say something about one country and when it's shown that the country mentioned is easing restrictions You bounce to another country shouting "LOOK!!! SEE.... PERMANENT RESTRICTIONS!!!"
The thought of people wearing masks (mostly voluntarily) scares you even though it doesn't affect you at all.

It's 2 years into this, we've had many posters claiming all sorts of conspiracies on this forum about the pandemic, not a single one has turned out to be true. So far, you've all had a 100% BS rate in this.
I am struggling to see a difference here between conspiracy theorists and people who tell serial lies. Even politicians tell the truth from time to time.
2 years in and some conspiracy theorists are still saying the pandemic isn't real and covid doesn't exist.

With England pretty much cancelling all restrictions from circa March onwards (not that there's many left)... it puts pressure on Scotland/Wales/NI and via the CTA, Ireland, to follow suit.
That's what was said a few months ago too, when "NPHET was being disbanded", and Denmark had lifted all of its restrictions. Then the hysteria got whipped up again, and NPHET are still here and Denmark had crazy restrictions re-imposed, and everybody went crazy testing themselves, because it's the only way to know if you have the dreaded Covid or the sniffles.
So not permanent then. They only apply when the pandemic risks the collapse health systems and the. Are removed when the risk subsides.

It’s been covered multiple times in this thread. Lates was only a couple of pages ago. Even a quick internet search would inform you.
Distance limits from people's homes. Limits on having guests at your houses.
Businesses being closed completely.

I don't think they'll be permanent in the sense that they never go away, I think they'll permanently exist as policy tools that get used regularly now. Assuming we exit Covid restrictions this year, I think if we had a repeat of the 2009 swine flu scare again in 2 years time, I think lockdowns and mandatory vaccines would be implemented again.
I don't know how much the health service has to do with anything, we've been treating people on trolleys for the last 20 years in this country, how many are being treated on trolleys today? The health service seems to be coping now better than it was before Covid, and that's with a massive amount of staff self isolating. I think it's clear that the system is not going to be overwhelmed, yet restrictions remain.
How far can you travel from home? Can you leave home for non essential purposes? How many people can you meet up with? Can people visit each others homes? Can you go to work? Can you travel internationally?...
