Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
Thats an amazing score for Dublin and you will 99.999999999% get called for an interview and by the looks of it probably not waiting too long. After your interview you will get another OOM and that will determine when you are offered a job
80's for Dublin is a great OOM! Congratulations and well done.
Can I ask what your score was?
Wow! Congratulations
no problem it was over 6700 .
Great thanks for that - sorry another Q - Do you have any idea of the timeframe from now until a starting a position - I've taken a 6 month contract with a company and don't want to leave before it ends so was hoping if I did pass interview etc any job offers would start in the summer
It can be a long process with Garda clearance, waiting for interview panels to finish etc so you’re looking at a couple of months anyway and usually if you speak to hr they can be accommodating with pushing out start dates
Fantastic - Thanks - I'm probably jumping the gun as haven't heard about an interview yet.
sorry another Q - can you request if in Dublin an area ie near where you live instead of other side of city etc or do you have to take what you are given - and if you are given an area that doesn't suit and you say no are you gone from the panel completely - sorry if it sounds cheeky but i was hoping to be within a certain radius of where i live
Basically yeah it’s take it or leave the panel, after two years you can put in a request to be moved but it’s no guarantee. One advantage is that a lot of depts are offering hybrid so if it is the wrong side of the city you may only have to go in 2 or 3 days. But it very much depends on the section you’re in and your manager
This is brilliant! My OOM for Dublin is 544, was a bit nervous I'd be waiting a while or wouldn't get a call.
Last time I applied 2 years ago . I was in the 7000nds . This time I was 402.
Hi I got 267 oom in mayo probably to far down list scored 5053
I was in the 7000nds two years ago .402 this time around
Did you get invited to interview last time?
Sorry I meant 702 last time . No I didn't get called for interview. Not sure I will get called this time either .see how it goes
Hi Sorry i forgot to ask, I got 363 for Dublin and 84 for Kildare, would there a chance in getting a call in my first option?
Can someone tell me if I have a chance of being called for an interview in westmeath, I got 260?
I done sligo/longford…got under 50 in both of them!
have not heard anything yet!
Hi all , I'm in the 20s for Cork and haven't heard anything yet
Hi All,
Got 176 for Offaly not sure how likely I am to be called... currently in a TCO Role.
Is this for TCO or Co ?
Have you been in your TCO role for long? As I heard tco contracts ranges from 6-8 weeks
I've been in it over 1 year now..went in on a 6 month contract..due to finish in March
Up to OOM 157 was called to interview from the 2020 Offaly panel. However, I have been told 2020/2021 was slow for recruitment due to Covid and people working from home. There are a few big departments in Offaly so hopefully it will work out for you.
Oh really, we have a Co on a shift rota in my county, if offered it, would you have to take it🥲 it’s like a 24 hour shift….
Hopefully... always seem to do worse in full time comp than TCO comp.
A lot of people say that, including myself. I put it down to a much larger volume of applicants for the permanent roles.
It really depends on where and how many staff are required and also how long the panel will go on for. The last campaign went quite high. Fingers crossed for you.
There's a chance she might. It depends on how long the panel lasts.
Better chance in Wexford than Waterford. They went high this year in the current Wexford Panel so he should get a call but could take a while.
