Anyone know what is his medical exception?
ok swap that for polyethylene oxide then!
I'm not sure you understand what an economic migrant is.
All the best to him. Hope he wins.
Nah mate, don't think he should be charged with anything. Just think he should have stayed at home for a few days while he had covid. What's being vaccinated got to do with it? I or you have no idea how many people he met on 17th/18th and who was and wasn't vaccinated. I'm pro vaccine choice and anti a lot of covid restrictions at this stage. But I do think people should stay at home while they have it.

Will one more win improve Novak’s standard of living??
they would be concentric circles. Covid has shone a light on the left. The old bastion of free speech, liberty and compassion have been the least empathetic bunch to anyone who doesn't subscribe to the current dogma.
Their behaviour has been lamentable. From the treatment of the working class girls who came back from Dubai with tit jobs, ringing dentists in Tenerife to shame people who snuck off on a holiday to saying unvaxxed shouldn't receive medical care (care which even rapists and murderers get in prison).
They have exposed themselves to be just as or if not more nasty then the "right" they hate so much.
There is a honesty to a right wingers indiscretions. The left are a sneaky insidious bunch. One is a playground bully. the other is a rat.
Had a quick google there. The office for personal request PCR tests in Serbia is open from 8am to 8pm. So would have been closed when his results came through.
In order to sort your travel plans you need to take “PCR testing on personal request” and it’s done in dedicated facilities for this purpose. You can make an appointment either online viaeGovernment portal or via telephone +381 11 3620000, 8-20h every working day.”
I don't think that they got tit jobs in the end did they?
Didn't really seem that their story added up there - there was surely more to it than came out.
The issue the government are facing is that you have the vast majority of the Australian population who have done their best through numerous lockdowns, have gotten vaccinated, have played along with rules regarding travel even across state lines, have been stranded overseas or had family members stranded overseas who are now going to see a non vaccinated, covid rule breaking rich entitled sportsperson rock up and gain entry to the country.
What makes it worse is this guy has laughed at covid rules, and by the looks of it could have completely disregarded lockdown isolation rules when positive even as late as last month.
If Djokovic does get to stay I would expect to see his matches turn into a shyte show where his vociferous supporters are battling with the vast majority of Australians who have played by the rules for the last two years.
In my experience Australians like winners, but they also can have a chip on their shoulder about everyone having a fair go.
"A person who leaves their country of origin purely for economic reasons in order to seek material improvements in their livelihood."
He's leaving his country temporarily for economic reasons. Winning prize money leads to material improvements. It's up to him to decide whether or not another win will improve his standard of living.
Exclusive interview with Novak's uncle, Goran, on the issue, now on GB News.
It's clear as day that Novak is being made an "example" of with the pandemic; a disgusting abuse of Big Government during the pandemic.
It is used to house asylum seekers. One of the people detained there arrived to Australia as a 15 year old and is now 24. Yes, he's been in detention for 9 years! He is locked up in a hotel room and can see life going on outside his window every day. It's appalling.
It would be automated.
I use robotics in work they do basic tasks out of hours, incredibly common
That's to get the test done. I've received PCR results via text at 11pm at night.
Press conference shortly, it seems he's been released and Minister taking time to decide but its clear, it's over, can't see any government Minister in Australia, re visiting this after the fact , if they were intent on deportation, it would have happened almost immediately.
In fairness 26 people (including Djokovic) applied in good faith to a process that was put in place by the Victorian State Government and Tennis Australia with publicly-voiced and written approval of the Federal Government.
If those Australian organisations had some internal communication errors and probably pure laziness for lack of proper oversight on their system - that's on them
If some Australians wish to project their displeasure of pandemic governmental policy decisions onto Djokovic who is precisely zero public health risk to an Australia who is going through an explosive Omicron wave in its most populous states then that's the case
Some of them can see the wood for the trees though and increasingly so.
But I thought Nigel was a big fan of the Australian immigration service? Absolute clown...another bandwagon to jump on. Ironic he is happy for eastern Europeans to work in Australia but not in the UK...
His uncle....all the big names! I suppose it makes a change from some random z list celeb like Cheryl Baker lol
😅
Interesting how they laid it on Djokovic at the airport...

There are only one set of scumbags (to quote our resident mud slinger in this thread.) and it isn't the Serbian Tennis player sat in the interview room.
A stitch up from the get go.
How can they treat someone who himself only recently recovered from the virus with such a lack of compassion.
He could be suffering from long covid or anything. Thats a sick frail man they are harassing.
Djokovic is "free" and has already been training on a tennis court today according to his brother
Can't be that sick and frail if he wants to play in a tennis tournament against the best players in the world
I don't think that Djokovic would really risk faking a test but this is quite good nevertheless if you get the references.
my sarcasm radar did tingle a little when reading that post that you're replying to.
hope he man shames every opponent en route to the title sans lube.
I appreciate your candour but there is no onus on anyone to do anything because you or others think their mere existence could be construed as a threat to others. You can twist it any which way but loose. People's paranoia doesn't trump personal liberty. I could drive a car and be putting other people's lives in danger. A little girl walking her dog could potentially lose control of him and he runs and knocks someone off a ladder. Life is full of risk, chance and happenstance. Did you ever go to the shops when you had the flu or a simple cold? Or the pub? How many people do you know decided to not go out when they were sick to protect others? "Oh, I've got the sniffles and the lads are going to the pub. I better not to protect them all."
I sat on the side of the cliffs of moher for a selfie before.
I need to be quarantined for my own good.
If he wins he can send the prizemoney on to me as it will certainly improve my standard of living
I'm not saying they should be forced to do anything. It is my belief that people should stay at home when they have covid. I'm entitled to form an opinion on the type of people that don't. Your examples are awful.
