I'm regretting the Salah to Ronaldo transfer now. I'll probably captain Gallagher or TAA tomorrow, I moved up to 844 in the rankings thanks to Saka who I will have to sell now due to bad fixtures and lack of fixtures.
Looks like he has no transfers left. Be Interesting how quickly he will drop back.
Probably will be there for a while with all the cancellations. He got away with it last night with Ronaldo blanking.
DDG captain worked out well for me yesterday.
Have DDG and Ronaldo, put DDG in for Ramsdale yesterday. Was never captaining DDG. United are a mess at the moment, I wouldn't have touched them only for these game days over Christmas.
Not the best afternoon with only Dennis playing (even though he delivered). I think most of the people who did well this afternoon captained Son and don't have Salah now. A lot of people transferred Salah out. Hopefully he delivers tonight.

I see the guy who is top now was asking Dan Cox (sky bitesize) what’s the minimum amount of transfers you should have at overhaul.
Perhaps he is on the low side with transfers
Keeping an eye on some of these guys on twitter, the top guy says he has 18 left. He made a few during the week. I can see a lot of these guys making a few more before overhaul. Very frustrating week for me so far, the Salah penalty miss cost 16 points and the top two now don't have him.
I have 20 left now, how many do you have? Depending on what fixtures are getting rearranged I will probably make a couple of more before overhaul. Salah out and maybe one other.
For what it's worth I am sitting at 1.4k and have 17 left.
Took Salah out this week and have Ronaldo (C) tonight so should be a nice differential.

Team is in decent nick but could do with the overhaul for a couple sideways moves. Mendy/Rudiger are issues, Bernardo/Jesus, etc.
I have 24 left. I’ll probably move Salah on to one of Son/Kane. If Watford end up with a lot of fixtures before the overhaul I’ll look at getting King in (would mean moving Dennis out and B. Silva so I might be better off just saving the transfers).

Just don't make any unnecessary transfers until overhaul. If you can try and have a captain for every matchday.
I will probably put in Son for Salah to free up money. I also have James who looks like he is injured. Scored an own goal on Sunday and then playing out of position last night gets injured. 2 clean sheets down the drain. Will have to wait and see how long he is out for. If I thought Watford only had the one day where we needed a captain I think I would leave it. Really wish they would announce the rearranged fixtures.

I have Salah, Ronaldo and Dennis so I can't take out James for a striker. Waiting on the fixtures but it will be someone with either a lot of rearranged matches or Laporte if not.

Up to rank 683 now but have James injured. I still have 19 transfers, I'd like an attacker like Son or Kane but need to see the fixtures first.
So we have a gameweek 22 with 3 matches. West Ham vs Norwich can be covered with Bowen or Antonio, but not sure what to do with Tuesday 11th. If that's all the matches being rearranged before overhaul I am wondering what gains can be made by bringing any of those players on that gameday.

I am waiting till nearer the time since I still have Salah. I will probably put Gray in for him then. I want to wait and see if any matches are rescheduled for the following midweek since I want to optimise the transfers. I put in Bowen yesterday for James so down to 19 now. With you having more transfers it is a good move. I am not sure I want to go below 18 transfers left at overhaul.
I got in Calvert Lewin for James and just did 1 transfer this week. Nobody has DCL yet but I'm not expecting much out of him today, he'll be a bit rusty. I got him in just for the Leicester match and Norwich after that.

When does the overhaul start and finish? Presumably like a WC in FPL where you pick players and once the deadline finishes, that's your team complete?
Also spotted the next GW is just 3 games rather than one big one. Will have to get Antonio or Bowen in.
Starts after the Chelsea-Spurs match on 23rd January, lasts till the first match on the 8th February. Just like a wildcard.
I had Antonio a couple of seasons ago when he ran riot against Norwich. He was a midfielder then in the game too as far as I can remember. I didn't do that well that season but it was definitely a highlight!
Everton vs Leicester off. Ignoring Southampton vs Brentford. Really hope the other rearranged matches before overhaul go ahead because I have all captaincies covered. Just have to find a Salah replacement.

I just don't see the upside of Norgaard bar tonight's match. I know he gets tackles bonus a fair bit, but I don't think there is much else to him. Of course he will score tonight after me saying that! Don't like Brentford's fixtures at all.
I am probably putting in Antonio for Salah because there is a far higher ceiling if he hauls. I have Bowen but I can see Antonio scoring tomorrow. The only other option is Kane but don't fancy Spurs without Son and the fixtures aren't great.
From what I got out of the podcast and what I have seen on twitter, there are a lot of itchy fingers waiting to make transfers tonight and going forward till the overhaul. There will be a lot of better opportunities after the overhaul to use our transfers.
If you get Antonio in tomorrow would you be tempted to captain him? given his top 1k ownership he will be the differential captaincy, although at your rank (and probably mine) it makes sense to stick with the higher owned captaincy players for the time being.
