Maybe he will get some relative to go on Liveline and say what a grand fella he was until he got slaughtered with the demon drink and took to the road, it would be his first ever offence obviously.
Not sure what's more of a disgrace, being caught drink driving or it being revelealed you were drinking White Claw seltzer.
Be interesting to see what kind of sentence he will get. Then the victims will sue him for whatever money him and a few generations of his family after him will have.

People get sentenced to 5-10 years for way more than what he did in the US.

Bringing Donegal/Derry drink driving culture to America, while being there illegally. It honestly sounded like the type of accident that happens here regularly. Ah the Joys of Multiculturalism. At least the Yanks will give an appropriate sentence and then deport after(if he lives long enough). Reading about his antics it appears to have been a massive drunken bender involving different bars, a driving range, crashing into a parked car and 5 other gobdaws in the car with him. I wonder will they be deported forthwith(if not american citizens)

Immediately think if it was made an offence to be knowingly transported in a vehicle being driven by a drunk driver would it have an affect on such scenarios.

Thats a really high blood alcohol content. He must have been absolutely hammered. He's not being unfairly treated because of his immigration status, Are we supposed to feel sorry for him or something?

Looks like he skipped the country while waiting to be sentenced in NI. Was facing 5 serious charges, fled to the US, overstayed then did the same thing again.

He didn’t walk anywhere for a long time. The big difference between what happened in America is that his passenger was willingly on the bike and was also drunk.

In America at least victims have the solace of knowing perpetrators when caught will get justice fitting the crime.
