Just curious Burger Face. You seem very knowledgeable about Russian Society, you must have lived there for a good while?
Great! So the ‘Russian threat’ is a myth and is just all lies and propaganda from our fair, free and impartial media.
No propaganda from the not free , impartial , Russians State owned and controlled media,
Run were surrounded , NATO troops are coming to eat our babies , look at the Genocide of russians living in Ukraine .
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We were talking about Russian women and you have gone off on a major tangent.
Had the same thought.............
The same thought indeed. You seem very much in the know about Russia. You must have lived there for quite some time, tovaritsch.
Economically Russia is a tiny player on the global stage.
Does it have a future or will it just be swallowed up by China?
While Russia is a smaller economy ( still big by Irish standards ) it's energy exports make it significant - to Europe and now china as well - it's big issue is a very rapid population decline which does risk the east of the country being swallowed up by china .,
If what you say is true then why are so many people worried about this nothing of a country?
If Russia is so impotent then why the panic?
If, as our resident military expert , Gatling, who claims that the Russians are so primitive that they only have one pair of boots per 10 men, then why the worry?
If the country is dying. If their military is a rickety and useless operation. If they can't jump start a tank. If they have a few submarines that are just death-traps. If their pilots have to go to a shop (Gatling's claim) to buy a GPS system and duct-tape it to the dashboard of their fighter jets then really there ought not to be much to fret about, no?
The 100,000 on the Ukrainian border must be eating their own toenails and scratching around looking for frozen cowpats to eat before the great invasion.
@BurgerFace If, as our resident military expert , Gatling, who claims that the Russians are so primitive that they only have one pair of boots per 10 men, then why the worry?
Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where the fauq did you make that up from????
What was your other account?
Would think I have more experience of the joint than yourself, comrade, bol'shoye spasibo i poka
Following several days of violent protests about rising fuel prices and inflation in kazakhstan, Russia is now sending several thousand "peacekeepers" to help maintain law and order ,ie prop up another sham government ala Belarus and Yanukovych in Ukraine ,
makes you wonder how fronts Putin thinks he can fight on
There has been several posts on here, where Kazakhstan was mentioned, and the question asked why Putin had not already annexed it, and my response was it was on the list of "To Do", and all in good time.....but seems like the good people of Kazakhstan have forced his hand. They don't want to be annexed either.
Yeah seems there is bigger issues than fuel prices ,
Apparently only ⅕ of the population identify as russian but I'm sure it would turn into a massive majority if putin wanted to ,at the same time it went from Kazakhstan must sort it internal issues itself to deploying spetzna forces to "keep the peace "
Ah yes 'Peacekeepers'
Looks like the plan to incorporate Kazakhstan has to be brought forward.
Troops from Belarus, Tajikistan, Krygystan, Armenia and Turkmenistan have also been sent. From what I gather they were requested.
I'm sure they were. Warlords gotta stick together!
I don't really know what you mean by that. From what I gather all the aforementioned countries are members of a military and security alliance.
The absolute majority of the forces deploying are Russian sf ........
I'm sure Russian and Belarusian troops will be voting in the next Russian annexation
Well in order to enter into a security pact/alliance the very first thing that all parties agree upon is the recognition of each others borders. That's "alliance 101" that any fool would understand.
Are you referring to me?
Like nato ?
That's not really putting things into perspective at all.
Well seeing as the secretariat of the alliance hasn't disclosed the size of the deployment force can you explain how you are in possession of the numbers?
There was widespread "unhappiness" with the results of the last election,,especially when no genuine opposition party was allowed to run, and the winner basically was and still is the former leader, Nursultan Nazarbayev, who held power for the previous 30 years. its an unhappy electorate, and unless Putin can install another Kadyrov as he did in Chechnya, he is facing a lot of unrest. Even Chechnya, is not totally peacefully...its kept peaceful only by massive back-up from Putin. There are lots of Chechens living in the woods, especially young fighting age men.
What has that got to do with what I wrote. People are talking about Russia being about to invade and annex Kazakhstan. More rubbish talk. I mentioned that this would be rather strange since they are members of a security alliance. In order to enter into a security alliance you must respect and recognise each others borders. That would be a rather stupid thing to do if you intended to NOT respect a member's borders by invading and annexing a country. I sometimes wonder if people on these threads even stop for a second to think before they spew out their geopolitical brainfarts.
It is more correctly to ask "How would you feel if the Irish government asked to bring British special forces into the Republic of Ireland to deal with internal protests?".
I would feel that such government no longer represents its country. It is basically surrendering the sovereignty of the state to external forces.
Ah but when it comes to Russia there is no such thing as Sovereignty , just oh it's was voted on by russians there fore legitimate, there was already public calls from members of Russian Duma to annex ancestral russian Kazakhstan
The only reason that they'd bring in troops from outside their borders is because they can't risk sending out their own troops ..
