I hope I don't jinx it but by the looks of it, it's going ahead.
Referee: Chris Busby
AR 1: Andrew Brace AR 2: Eoghan Cross
TMO: Olly Hodges
Red card?
That's a card.
Head to head collision from Farrell.
Should be
Yup thats a red unfortunately
That's red.
Very reckless from Farrell.
Can't see much mitigation.
Looks like a pretty obvious card but lottery as to which.
Head contact, no mitigation. Has to red surely.
No effort to get low. Munster can have no complaint if this is red.
Red for Farrell coming. Not malicious but no dip from him.
That's shoulder to chin. No mitigation
That hit was almost as loud as the boot by Healy earlier.
farrell in trouble, tackled player was low but Farrell already had him lined up.
Na tis a red for sure. I could see connacht pulling away now theve been the better team anyway
Has to be red
That's the reddest red card I've seen in a while..
A sidestep being mitigation is absolutely insane
Very fortunate.
That's a wrong call
As a munster fan that's a red.
Jesus Christ.
Based on previous reds we have received I think that is a terrible call.....
That decision makes a mockery of the current laws
And that is how you make use of the man advantage
Bad call we're very lucky there
yellow all day long
Poor decision by ref. Farrell is 6’4. He’s probably making contact at just a shade under 6 foot there. Way too high.
Connacht player dropping his knees at the last second saved Farrell
Awful decision, ref has been poor all game. The only potential mitigation was that the player was low in the carry, that step referenced has nothing to do with it.
But he didn't though. That's the thing.
Utterly dreadful decision on that red card. Even worse when you hear what the referee thought the mitigation was.
Baffling.
You can see when contact is made that his knees are bent. Munster got lucky all the same
This is absolute bollocks. It was a slight bend of the knees when Farrell made zero effort to get low. If you go in that high and your shoulder hits their head then it's on you and it's a clear red card.
